The Opportunity
This opportunity is fully remote, with the primary location in the Los Angeles area. ~20% of travel is expected and required for this position.
IZEA's Client Services team works with our clients to plan, execute, manage and optimize their Influencer and Content Marketing plans and campaigns through a flat-rate, Managed Service offering. Team members in this workgroup interact with our clients daily and are responsible for building and maintaining a "trusted advocate" status with those individuals. They are the key contributors for the client's day-to-day business.
As a member of this team, you will collaborate closely with many of IZEA's internal departments, including Client Development, Creative Services, Partnerships & Media, Engineering, as well as Product Development. As such, positions in this workgroup require experience with managing overall business and marketing strategy, integrated marketing/digital projects, budgets, and timelines for large brand corporations and/or their agency partners.
This particular role is dedicated to our primary entertainment accounts.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee all execution of Influencer and/or Content Marketing campaigns from end to end, post-sale.
- Promote partnership between IZEA and our clients; establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations
- Manage the schedule of campaigns, ensuring coordination with other internal IZEA departments
- Serve as the primary point of communication with clients during their Managed Service campaign with IZEA
- Work with creators to ensure all content is submitted correctly during the scheduled campaign flight
- Maintain IZEA's high editorial standards by ensuring copy is clear and concise and provide editorial feedback to creators
- Coordinate with clients on the approval and review schedule determined at the launch of the campaign to ensure campaign flights flow properly
- Provide reporting to clients throughout campaign flights; upon campaign completion, create full campaign recaps and/or case studies
- Mediate internal and client issues as appropriate; resolve scope changes or any client relationship disparities toward a financially positive and relationship-building solution
- Protect and grow IZEA's Managed Service revenue stream by demonstrating value consistently and proactively with our clients
- Aid in repeat business and up-selling opportunities
As a Campaign Manager You will collaborate primarily with Campaign management Pod Leaders and other members of the engineering team. Your core objectives and responsibilities will include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact and reviewer for the Sales team for heat checks and quote reviews.
- Assist with formalizing the Campaign Management training cadence and act as the liaison of the overall training process for new hires on the campaign management team.
- Collaborate with key decision-makers to outline and maintain a formal IZEA training curriculum, including an "on-ramp" training for Campaign Coordinators moving into an Associate Campaign Manager role, as well as "off ramp" training for Associate Campaign Managers in the first 90 days of their new role. (90 days transition pending assessment of the Associate Campaign Manager)
- Serve as a mentor and oversight for new hires as they begin to split their first campaigns. You will be expected to stay involved with the happenings of these campaigns, but will allow the new hire to take the lead in managing the client and campaign.
- Partner with the product team to provide feedback and the Campaign Management perspective on upcoming features and enhancements.
- Provide out of office coverage as needed for fellow campaign managers as they take PTO.
- Assist with the Intern class management and future intern team projects.
- Manages all functions of client services operations including, but not limited to, forecasting, planning, resource management, campaign setup, budget and timing tracking and campaign optimization in order to enable the achievement of goals
- Oversee project management across campaigns to assure that we eliminate time sensitive bottlenecks and produce high-quality campaigns with appropriate velocity
- Recommend changes for organizational and process improvement to achieve standardization across the campaign management team
- Allocate resources to adjust team focus towards goals attainment
- Develop systems and processes to drive efficiency and productivity across the department
- Support the development, updating, reporting and analysis of key metrics
- Use data to inform best practices, eliminating inefficiencies throughout our operational workflows
- Provides insightful tool and performance analysis results on a regular basis in order to enable strategic improvements in campaigns
- Align and communicate priorities between the campaign management and engineering team regarding platform enhancements and improvements

- Proven experience in marketing and promoting theatrical releases within the entertainment industry.
- Proven experience in event execution within the entertainment industry, with a focus on talent handling.
- Crisis management skills to handle unexpected situations and ensure attendee safety.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, and/or similar field
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of marketing and/or advertising professional services background, ideally with 1 to 2 years of experience specifically within the Influencer Marketing and/or Content Marketing sector.
- Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) and Project Management systems
- Thorough knowledge of modern marketing techniques, workflows, and best practices to drive continual organizational efficiency.
- Passion for the entertainment industry and staying updated on current trends and audience preferences.
- Familiarity of event production and technical aspects, including staging, lighting, sound, and AV systems.
- Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies for entertainment events.
Variable Compensation
- Base Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000
- Campaign Managers are eligible for a 1.0% commission based on the total dollar amount of each campaign they manage and successfully execute, paid monthly.
