This person will be responsible for driving the overall social media & content strategy content across all organic social media channels for KISS Products UK, including overseeing a weekly content calendar, social support plans for launches/activations, identifying social trends & owning community management and reporting. This role will work cross-functionally with the KISS brand & marketing teams, & report directly to the Manager, Social Media Strategy & Implementation. Job Description
- Build out short & long term social media strategies for the KISS Products UK brand
- Regularly identify social trends & strategize opportunities for the brand to engage
- Oversee the development of social calendar across all organic social channels – including support for new launches & promotions
- Work closely with brand marketers and creative teams to facilitate content development and timely deployment of content, including FB, Twitter, IG, IG Stories, live events, takeovers, press events, consumer show etc.
- Oversee community management across all social platforms, with flexibility on monitoring during events
- Build the brand community through strategic and tactical actions– (Insta takeovers, giveaways, building influencer relationships, ambassador programs, responding to product related questions and concerns, customer related inquiries including order status updates, etc)
- Review & craft copy for all social channels (FB, IG, TW & TikTok) working closely with the copy team and brand marketing team
- Partner closely with the creative team for content planning and creation of assets to support social holidays, new launches, etc
- Monitor and report regularly on product feedback, online reviews, brand sentiment, competitive, KPIs and other performance metrics or goals.
- Participate in weekly social brainstorms & TikTok meetings, drafting agenda’s & recaps
- Collaborate closely with cross-functioning teams (Digital Marketing, Digital Merchandising, Sales & Creative) for ongoing social support for retailers
- Manage coordination with internal social content creators
- Review & approve produced social content (TikTok, IG stories, IGTV & Reels) – must be able to provide clear feedback & edits
- Stay up-to-date on emerging digital and social technology trends to ensure brand is always on the cutting edge all changes in the social space. Brings thought leadership to the team with regard to social media strategies and tactics that will help us achieve our goals.
- Reports on competitive brand activities and leading brands creating dynamic consumer engagement that are worthy of evaluation and monitoring.
Requirements
Additional Job Description:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive work experience as a social media manager preferably in the beauty space. Experienced with social content calendar planning and production cycles, including writing creative briefs and preparing model and product moodboards
- In-depth understanding of social media platforms (specifically Tik Tok and Instagram) from both a paid & organic perspective
- Experience with social media, reporting & analysis
- Deep and proven knowledge of all aspects of social media and relevant platforms and community management. You have proven work experience as a community manager & knowledge of digital marketing.
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment & meet changing deadlines on multiple projects
- Strong problem-solving & troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal communication & writing skills
- Works well under pressure & has a flexible & positive attitude
- Attention to detail & ability to multitask
- Strong project management skills
- Up-to-date on relevant cultural events
- Passionate about beauty, specifically nails and lashes
- Highly detail oriented. Works well independently and as part of a team. Well organized with good project management skills. Strong communication skills . Deep understanding of beauty category and the emotional and functional aspects driving brand affinity and desirability. Comfortable working in fast paced environment.
