With each new collection, JMM embraces a unique palette of precious materials, rich colors, and striking geometric forms, which cleverly reference and beautifully reconfigure the striking individuals, artistic movements, and world events of previous centuries. Jacques Marie Mage is looking for a Head Curator. This role exists to elevate our VIP customers' experience. This individual must live and breathe Jacques Marie Mage; they know our products inside out and are the expert in locating products in demand. Expectations are that you are one to strive for excellence. You are motivated, energetic, and highly organized; attention to detail is your obsession. You love to help and proactively solve problems with a positive attitude.
Your responsibilities are – but are not limited to
● Develop and lead programs & services.
● VIP Room
o Manage the JMM archive museum and create exclusivity.
▪ Ensure the organization of frames and products.
o Storyteller, captivate our clients by telling details of our products through the lens of our creator and designer, Jerome Mage
▪ Must have expertise in all technical aspects of frames.
o Be inspired by art and know art
▪ Locate and curate exciting and vintage art to complement the VIP room
● Service
o Give our VIP clients an elevated luxury experience; something unique to be remembered by
o Create a transformative experience leaving the JMM collector drooling for more or inspires a new customer to want to explore JMM and become a collector
o Be the point of contact for our VIPs
● Program
o Create and manage the VIP program, driving the JMM community
o Create and manage Collectors Events
o Buy-back program – Rare JMM finds
o Create and manage a holiday gifting schedule
● Vault
o Manage the JMM archive online
▪ Curating vintage JMM frames, jewelry, furniture, books, and memorabilia.
● Be the voice of the brand
o Be the advocate and representative for all JMM collectors.
o Seek opportunities to improve service
Required Skills and Experience:
- 3-4 years of luxury customer service experience
- 3-4 years of art curation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Capability of working with a sense of urgency and being able to follow through
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to treat confidential information with appropriate discretion
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent time management skills
- Very strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to act as gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to executives as needed
