The Ad Operations Specialist / Manager is a member of Universal Music’s in-house media team. In this role, you will support and contribute to the efficiency of Ad Operations and AdTech infrastructure strategy.

How You'll CREATE

  • Facilitate & support technical set up, activation and execution of paid media campaigns within digital advertising platforms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to ad serving, tagging and delivery
  • Maintain a tagging spec library and stay current on the ever-changing retailer tagging requirements.
  • Implement and validate pixels and tags for conversion tracking.
  • Collaborate with e-commerce, buying, reporting, and billing teams to evolve organizational processes, reporting templates, audience creation, data analysis and media planning.
  • Support Media Analysts with the advertising reporting operations and BI dashboards (Datorama/Salesforce) by managing data quality and enforcing AdOps policies and procedures.
  • Assist the e-Commerce team with day-to-day tasks such as pixel creation, custom conversion and product feed creation.
  • Optimize e-Commerce shop tagging to ensure correct reporting of revenue & purchase behavior.
  • Collaborate with technical stakeholders to implement measurement technology and validate that tags, pixels, and events are firing properly.
  • Maintain understanding of the social media ad landscape and platforms
  • Look for and identify trends in historical data to develop effective long-term and short-term strategies to help grow the business.

Bring Your VIBE

  • 1-3 years of digital advertising operations or account management experience
  • Understand pixel implementation on websites for data collection and conversion tracking
  • Self-starter with ability to balance a number of priorities, working cross-functionally to meet internal and external needs with strong problem-solving drive.
  • Technical understanding of the digital media ecosystem, ad trafficking, targeting, media planning and buying techniques, and evaluation of media performance.
  • Experience working in an extremely fast-paced environment with high degree of autonomy
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage deadlines, goals, priorities, and client expectations in a fast-paced environment.
  • High sense of urgency with the ability to successfully perform work while meeting deadlines.
  • Team player who's excited to grow their career while helping to strengthen and solidify new areas of business and gain exposure into digital advertising within the creator economy.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for presentation and media plan support.

Salary Range

$58,500 - $117,395

The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
