Role Description
We’re seeking a Senior Brand Manager to help launch Mr Black in the US and seek these new ways to recruit new audiences and expand our occasions. This role is pivotal to shaping brand strategy in partnership with our team globally and leading the strategy and execution of a robust media plan. This person will play a key role within the organization, driving clarity and passion. We want a creative and strategic problem solver with strong creative and cultural instincts; an expert and rigorous marketer with a focus on risk taking and experimentation; an enthusiastic leader who can inspire followership and engagement with the team globally and cross functional teams; and a proven track record of success. The type of person we are seeking is comfortable pushing new boundaries, testing new territories and delivering outstanding results as Mr Black rolls out nationally and invites more consumers into its bold world of coffee liqueur.
Key Outputs / Deliverables
- Lead US business, including Q2 national US launch, setting strong key performance indicators and working closely with CP&A lead to engage key commercial partners in U.S. across launch and through key tentpole activations (EMF)
- Partner with US / global brand leadership in development and execution of ATL / integrated campaigns
- Lead annual Marketing Business Plan (MBP), enroll key partners and brief agencies to deliver activity plan (including F24 launch strategy, new experiential mechanic)
- Work with digital global lead to develop media plans
- Partner with brand manager to shape PR, culture and influencer / partnerships strategy
- Partner with commercial team to develop strong programming in market and relevant extensions with experiential agency (with new current environment in mind)
- Lead quarterly partner business reviews and in market/sales-facing meetings
- Lead the IAT relationship, as key point of contact
- Mentor and collaborate with US brand manager
Experience
- MBA preferred; undergraduate degree required
- 7+ years marketing experience with track record of creating / implementing brand strategies and campaigns with tangible results
- Consumer goods experience preferred, three-tiered industries or alcohol beverage experience a plus
- US experience preferred
- Ability to demonstrate consumer insight and achieve creative excellence and effective marketing programs
- Strong relationship management with cross functional teams and close team globally
- Strong commercial skill with ability to enroll and motivate a large, complex sales organization
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize and drive to actions
