Job Overview:
You will work in a team-oriented environment and fully support all marketing efforts directed by the Director of Marketing & Programming to generate revenues for the resort. Provide engaging customer service and support the branding and marketing efforts of the resort. You will also support the continuing effort to deliver distinctively different guest experiences and nurture lasting relationships with our customers.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with implementation and execution of the annual sales and marketing plan.
- Attend Revenue Optimization Calls weekly and provide marketing feedback and strategies based on resort pace.
- Work with Director, Director of Sales, and Director of Reservations regarding promotions, programming, and compelling offers for the resort to the public.
- Guide Social Media efforts, curate the guest story via contracted platform manager. Guide social media and responses under the guidance of Director of Marketing & Programming.
- Guide review responses via contracted platform manager, with guidance from Director.
- Participate in digital strategy calls and offer direction regarding SEO and PPC recommendations.
- Work with departments on collateral designs and execution with manufacturer.
- Participate in weekly and bi-weekly PR strategy calls.
- Evaluate Media and social influencer requests and curate visits.
- Work with PR Team on Media FAM coordination.
- Participate in Media visits and entertainment independently or accompanied by Managing Director, Resort Manager, DOSM.
- Participate in all departmental marketing strategy meetings.
- Develop E-marketing messages and deploy, report ROI and performance.
- Work with 3rd party developer on new projects, website updates and scheduled photo / video shoots under the direction of the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Be visible at community events and participate within the community to build partnerships as opportunities present themselves.
- Promptly answer telephones and enthusiastically greet our guests with your personal spirit, however busy and whatever time of day.
- Anticipate our guests’ needs and respond promptly.
- Take initiative to go beyond the ordinary to resolve guest complaints and create loyalty.
- Understand fully the hotel amenities, packages and promotions and provide recommendations on guest activities, attractions, and places of interest to media or guests.
- Provide guidance, manage, and support for the administrative assistant position.
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of Director of Sales and Marketing and or Managing Director and Ownership.

- Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others and marketing support in a team-oriented environment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

- Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through excellent written communication.
