Amazon is seeking a talented, highly motivated and experienced business development leader to engage with top commerce content creators including major media companies and influencers to enable our customers to discover products they will love on Amazon. The Amazon Associates program is a global leader in online marketing and one of the largest paid advertising channels for Amazon. As a customer-obsessed, creator economy enthusiast, you will influence and build upon the success we have had with top media properties and creators to drive revenue, new customers and awareness for Amazon’s strategic businesses and programs. As a business development leader for at Amazon Associates, you will have the opportunity to think big and explore how our creators can lean into shoppable content, social media apps, AI, and more. Using your deep knowledge of digital media and a solution-oriented mindset you will collaborate with and influence our product teams to develop innovative integrations which help unlock new opportunities for Amazon and our creators.

You are deep on commerce and social trends and understand how our selection and services fit into content creators strategies. You will explore revenue driving opportunities with leading lifestyle publishers and influencers.

Using your deep knowledge of digital and social media and a solution-oriented mindset you will develop opportunities for Amazon across the media landscape. You are an excellent oral and written communicator and you possess an analytical approach to business development, leveraging data to drive decisions. You are highly organized and have the ability to work independently. You're particularly adept at developing strong, one-to-one relationships and working closely and constructively with external partners.

This job is also open to individuals working from Seattle, WA and Miami, FL metropolitan areas.

Key job responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategy for ecommerce penetration of the comScore 5000
  • Pitch, onboard and scale new media properties
  • Own quarterly revenue growth objectives for creators
  • Drive special deal terms and negotiations with creators to optimize collaboration
  • Drive adoption of products for creators, including tools to implement effective integrations (links, display units, etc.), reporting tools, product feeds etc.
  • Work closely with technology teams to inform product roadmap and provide feedback on product requirements
  • Partner with Retail leaders to support strategic Amazon businesses

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market.
