This position is part of the Office of Marketing and Communications within the Max M. Fisher College of Business. Under the direction of the Director of Communications, this position creates visual content that furthers the college’s positioning and stewards Fisher’s reputation by heightening awareness of the college’s impact, research, initiatives, and programs. Creates highly visual, long, medium, and short-form videos that highlight college-level strategic priorities for use across Fisher’s digital channels. Serves as a visual content strategist and works with various internal team members and college stakeholders to identify and/or refine visual storytelling opportunities using an omnichannel perspective. Manages and executes pre-production and production processes and creates multi-layered visual content that is tailored to resonate with the college’s unique audiences across various channels. Works closely with the Digital Strategy Lead, Social Media Lead and other members of the Office of Marketing and Communications team to ensure visual storytelling projects are optimized for omnichannel sharing. Analyzes visual storytelling performance across channels and provides insights and recommendations to the Marketing and Communications team. Incorporates accessibility requirements into all deliverables and utilizes digital storytelling best practices to inform the ideation, production, editing and sharing of content. Actively seeks out new trends related to content creation, visual storytelling and video at Ohio State and beyond. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Information

The target hiring range for this job profile is $49,800 - $66,400. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limit to, education, years of experience, internal equity, etc.
