About The Role

LinkSquares is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of Content, Community, and Communications to lead and manage a team of dynamic content marketing, social media, PR, and communications professionals. The ideal candidate should have at least ten years of experience in the field, with a proven track record of leading and developing effective content strategies that drive traffic, building engagement, and increasing brand awareness across a variety of channels.

The successful candidate must have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members to deliver high-quality results.

The core responsibilities of the job include managing the content creation process, developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business goals, managing content workflow and distribution across various platforms, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to identify new opportunities, and constantly monitoring and analyzing marketing metrics to adjust strategies accordingly.

This role is hybrid between in-office at our downtown Boston location and remote work. The expectation is that the employee is in-office a minimum of 1-2 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of four with plans already in place to expand the team further.
  • Create the strategic vision for the creation and production of content assets – eBooks, guides, blog content, web series, podcast, and more.
  • Oversee the management of social media channels and our legal tech influencer program to develop brand engagement, reach, and awareness.
  • Grow our external speaker program for virtual and in-person events, most notably our annual customer event Elevate.
  • Develop an effective PR and communications strategy, which includes earned media, internal speaker placement, and awards.
  • Partner with Demand Gen, Creative, and Product Marketing to consistently grow traffic, engagement, and awareness across channels.
  • Be an advocate for our company brand and voice across the entire organization.
  • Continuously evaluate performance based on data to analyze engagement trends and adjust content strategy accordingly.
  • Define and maintain standards for content governance in terms of quality, relevance, consistency, and uniqueness.

About you:

  • 10+ years of combined experience in content strategy, communications, marketing, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience managing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience working at a B2B SaaS company
  • Proven record of developing successful content strategies that drive engagement and growth across a variety of channels
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience using data and analytics to inform content strategy and measure performance
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively present information to a diverse audience
  • Strong and error-free written communication skills.
