How you'll have an impact at Paula's Choice: The Retail Marketing Manager will be responsible for marketing initiatives to drive strong retail performance of this high-growth brand and overseeing all marketing activation for North American (US and Canada) key Wholesale Accounts. Reports to the Senior Retail Marketing Manager.
As a Retail Marketing Manager, a typical day might include a mix of the following:
- In partnership with the Senior Manager of Retail Marketing, drive Paula's Choice brand presence and the go to market strategy through clear briefings to cross-functional teams. Provide strategic direction through completion of 360 launch plans and activations.
- Collaborating with key account managers on marketing calendar planning.
- Driving successful NPD launches in key wholesale accounts.
- Partnering with Sales, Education and Creative teams to strategize and execute a compelling retail presence.
- Collaborating with Sales and Educations teams to develop in-store activations & event planning.
- Leading strategy for kits, sample programs & GWPs.
- Leading all visual marketing asset requests with the creative and brand teams (photos, videos and retailer social media asset requests). Maintaining retailer digital assets (PDP copy, images, videos) with up to date, compelling information.
- Working with Brand team to coordinate social media and influencer support & collaborate with other cross functional teams to create media/digital plans to support new launches and drive core business.
- Leading retailer co-creation programs such as retailer favorites kits.
- Tracking project timelines, communicating changes and updating timelines to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Conducting post campaign analysis to track and analyze results, ensuring key insights and learnings are identified for future campaigns and marketing strategies.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
The details:
Location: Full remote, within the US
Hours: Typical PST business hours, with some flexibility required
Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting & screen time
Travel requirements: Up to 10%
What you'll bring to the table:
- 3+ years experience in retail marketing or brand management
- Robust experience in retail marketing (developing programs, events, activations for key wholesale partners)
- Relevant beauty/skin care industry experience
- Experience with retail merchandising strategy
- Track record in creative thinking and working with internal and external creative partners
- Agility and strategic thinking for a dynamic category and channel
- Ability to lead, build relationships and work effectively in a highly cross-functional team environment
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong project management skills

Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location
$90,000 - $100,000 USD/annually
Paula's Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data. We evaluate external and internal equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wage index in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our company. Our posted salary range is based on national data and may be refined for a candidate's region/town/cost of living.
For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget.
This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan.
