Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO AT CANYON RANCH
Reporting to the Marketing Director, this individual is the Tucson marketing expert. This experienced marketing professional will act as the marketing lead for Tucson and be an integral member of the corporate marketing team. This motivated and outgoing person will build relationships across the property to ensure they are aware of what is happening on the property and how our guests are feeling. They will partner with other marketing functions in the following areas: marketing to drive awareness in key source markets, journalist/influencer on-property management, on-property content capture, development and execution of on-property collateral, and brand experience development.
This position is full-time and onsite at our Tucson, AZ location.
Essential functions and duties of the role will include:
- Marketing Operations:
- Ensure guidelines for promoting internal and external featured experiences and guest experts are adhered to.
- Partner with corporate and property operations to execute key branded experiences.
- Work with property operations teams to ensure standards are in place and adhered to for a consistent guest experience; i.e. menus, collateral unique guest touch points.
- Partner with property operations to manage and respond to relevant review platforms, e.g. TripAdvisor and Google.
- Work collaboratively with Lenox and Woodside marketing to share OneRanch best practices.
- Partner with operations, sales, and HR to ensure guest-facing and employee-facing collateral is on-brand.
- Partner with the content team to develop efficient and innovative ways to meet the collateral needs of the properties.
- PR and Influencer Management & Content Capture:
- Partner with PR/Social teams, Wellness Guides, and Operations to ensure journalists, influencers, and other VIPs are appropriately managed pre-stay, while on-property, and post-stay.
- Partner with on-property teams and the social team to ensure there is consistent content capture on-property to feed social and other channels.
- Work closely with the Brand Marketing Director and Tucson Executive team to coordinate internal communications, disseminate key messages, and keep colleagues informed of brand and property developments.
- Drive Property Awareness and Booking:
- Work with Marketing Director, Programming, and Sales to help develop and execute marketing plans to drive property awareness and occupancy.
- Ensure Tucson marketing plans are aligned to the overall brand marketing plans and reflect the unique nature and attractions of the Tucson property.
- Collaboratively establish local community relations plans to address each property’s needs as needed.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL
Successful applcants for the role will have the following:
- Minimum 3+ Years of experience in Marketing in a Project Coordinator or Project Manager equivalent
- Marketing degree or equivalent years of experience
- Strong understanding of Hotel or Resort experience in an operational setting
- Ability to develop and maintain a budget and expense goals.
- Empathy for guest concerns and awareness to resolve issues with high level of service
- Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines. Proficient skills in Microsoft office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Pro, WorkFront and Outlook.
- Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record
