THE ROLE

PlayOn! Sports is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to create and maintain competitive intelligence across product lines by leveraging internal and external content and resources to prepare and share key value drivers to differentiate our product offerings. You will be expected to research, analyze, define, and advocate for the customer in crafting the product story to the market. As part of the Product Management Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an extremely passionate and supportive team focused on building market-leading, innovative solutions. We follow an Agile process to iteratively drive important business outcomes. The Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Sales Teams to drive growth and product usage across the customer base.

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:

• Work closely with Product Team to understand the products and how each feature and functionality aligns to a customer problem

• Create and maintain competitive intelligence across product lines, leveraging internal and external content and resources to share the latest knowledge

• Develop, communicate and deploy customer insights using customer surveys, interviews, research, and analysis of customer usage and data

• Help collect and aggregate customer feedback from internal teams

• Understand development timelines and create market release strategies against those timelines

• Partner with Marketing Teams to develop and execute release communications externally

• Partner with Product Managers to create market positioning of product offerings, ensuring differentiation and persona alignment

• Establish KPI's and track performance to ensure communication and marketing plans are delivering optimal results

• Partner with Sales Enablement to ensure the Sales & Marketing Teams have the necessary materials and training to be successful in the market

THE PERSON

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing or Product Management in the technology industry

• Experience in product marketing for a B2B or B2C SaaS or software company

• Have strong creative skills, including the ability to write copy and develop customer-facing presentations, work with images and video content.

• Understanding of product marketing best practices and processes including knowledge and experience in demand generation, social media, digital marketing, storytelling, influencer marketing and project management.

• Demonstrated ability to communicate with B2B and B2C audiences

• Experience analyzing user data, customer insights and market research to define product positioning

• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-direction
