Summary: The Social Content Creator generates engaging short-form video and photography material and identifies new ways to reach movie lovers through compelling creative. The ideal candidate brings the love of movies and the theatre-going experience to life in creative ways that drive brand awareness and draw in new audiences to Regal's social channels.
Pay Scale: $58,270 to $63,229
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Represent Regal and capture content from red carpets, junkets, activations, and events
- Establish and maintain Regal’s live event content coverage calendar
- Create innovative, out-of-the-box social media content for management approval including text captions, videos, and images - suitable for Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- Stay on top of breaking news and social trends to create fresh, relevant content in a timely manner
- Ensure every piece of content created aligns with Regal’s brand voice and tone and social guidelines
- Build relationships with our GMs and studio partners to ensure Regal has access to premier events and opportunities
- Maintain Regal’s social calendar, making sure all posts are scheduled correctly and on time
- Serve as Regal's social media point of contact for studios and after hours breaking events
- Engage with the community among our platforms
- Assist in the analysis of the performance of social marketing campaigns and preparation of reports
- Build relationship with influencers for shared content opportunities
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations
- 1-year of experience creating strong, engaging social content for a major brand
- Excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing
- Excellent organizational, and time management skills
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
- Entertainment and / or theatre industry experience helpful, but not required
- Manage social media calendar
- Monitor results to ensure goals and objectives are being met
- Prepare budget recommendations
- Deliver weekly / monthly / quarterly and end of year reporting on KPIs
- Work closely with Regal teams to ensure initiatives are supported and launched on time
- Build the relationship with movie studio publicity teams to increase Regal’s participation at press events
- Develop and execute out-of-the-box, innovative social campaigns
- Understand the every-evolving social media universe and Regal's competition
- Research and explore emerging channels and notify managers of upcoming opportunities
- Partner with social agencies to continuously evolve the Regal voice and tone and create content for Regal to stand out
