About The Role

The purpose of this position is to support our Full Funnel Marketing strategy. The Manager of Marketing and Community exists to help build further credibility for our brand, grow our community around the globe and fuel engagement with our Stance fans - turning them into fanatics.

About The Reporting Structure

This position reports to the VP of Business Development.

About Primary Responsibilities

Community Growth, Engagement & Amplification

  • Influencer Marketing: Develop and lead influencer marketing program including identifying and engaging on-brand influencers/experts, concepting seasonal sampling/engagement bundles, maintaining consistent outreach to the community and leading coordination of deeper influencer engagements to lean into key moments throughout the calendar year.
  • Community Engagement: Identify and engage key relationships with passion-driven groups in snow, skate, surf, fitness and youth culture, creating meaningful, authentic relationships with communities and supporting grassroots events.
  • Develop custom programs to drive brand and retail engagement with Gen Z in key territories nationwide.
  • Work cross-functionally to create and develop influencer and athlete marketing plans across culture programs and projects to grow community via digital, social, events and partnerships.
  • Partner with broader marketing and retail teams to support marketing/PR/grassroots activations as needed.
  • Manage monthly KPI reporting recaps for the community and marketing teams efforts.

Brand Campaign Support

  • Support brand and marketing strategies that effectively build brand awareness, credibility, engagement and differentiation through digital and experiential touch points.
  • Help identify consumer and market trends and youth culture insights that feed into overarching brand strategies and contribute to compelling storytelling and community engagement.

PR & Amplification

  • Work internally and with agencies to identify key storytelling opportunities, cultural moments, and amplify product launches throughout the year. Support marketing team where needed.

Experience Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred (Business, Marketing, Communications).
  • 2+ years work experience in related field or similar role.
  • Passion for brand and community building - you have a pulse on trends and how to connect with consumers in a meaningful, authentic way.
  • Natural strategic instincts with an ability to come up with and execute against forward-thinking ideas that connect to brand and business priorities.
  • Experience successfully collaborating and influencing cross-functional partners to bring memorable brand/product moments to life and generating hype around them.
  • Excellent communicator (both verbally & written) - you bring clarity to ambiguity.
  • Effective project management skills - you can balance a variety of priorities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to be flexible in terms of what you work on and how work gets done.
