Art Director, Omni Channel
General Position Overview
The Art Director is a creator, influencer, facilitator, and collaborator. The position requires the candidate to work in the conception and production of innovative, custom, End-to-End content and experience solutions. The position will work at the cross section of advertising and entertainment including - content creation, IP and property partnerships, IRL experiences, metaverse, AR and VR. This involves working in close partnership with business leads, strategy, clients, media partners (networks, platforms, media partners, startups and best in class vendors etc.) and production teams.
The candidate should possess an insatiable curiosity about the world, spanning emerging technology, art, streaming content, entertainment, and pop culture.
SUMMARY
The art director will act as a creator, facilitator, and collaborator. The position requires the candidate to work in creative and strategic development, conception, and creative production, of innovative, custom, end-to-end experiences across traditional channels and a variety of new and emerging platforms, inclusive of OTT/ streaming, Web3, Metaverse and others.
Strategic and Tactical Marketing: From Concept to Execution
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and support the creative vision for the team, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of quality and innovative thinking.
- Collaborate with the team to understand client needs and develop concepts and user experience flows for omni channel experiences.
- Lead the visual design components of cutting-edge content and experiences for our client partners which could include digital experiences so understanding how to work in the metaverse is a plus, as well as AR/VR, AI-powered campaigns and whatever comes next in this rapidly evolving digital landscape.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in entertainment and technologies which include streaming and digital experiences like Web3 to ensure our work is always at the forefront of the industry.
- Team player in the creative development of client pitch decks, concept statements and experience design for new business opportunities
- Increases understanding and awareness of best practices, necessary technical knowledge and skill advances through attendance at trade and professional meetings and seminars, trade shows, perusal of the literature, and use of supplementary educational activities.
- Art direct content which may include attending shoots and edit sessions either in person or virtually.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of previous experience in advertising/media/PR or agency setting strongly preferred.
- Professional knowledge of graphics art or related field required as normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, graphic design/visual communications, interactive media or Communications.
- Recent experience working in a hybrid omni channel creator environment with case studies that include work in the space of content, entertainment, experiential and Web3
- Strong instincts and understanding of what makes an award-worthy piece of work
- Organized with impeccable attention to detail
- Motivated self-starter, natural collaborator and positive “can do” attitude
Additional Information
Compensation Range: $73,500 - $115,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
Chicago and New York based talent is preferred; however, fully remote roles will be considered for the right candidate.
