Who We Are:

Here at JOJO’s Chocolate, we are on a mission to spread love and fight sugar. We were born out of Mama Jojo’s kitchen while she battled cancer and sugar cravings. While her son, Sterling, watched his mom’s battle, he wanted to share her story of love, optimism, faith, fight. Our goal is to make delicious low sugar dark chocolate that helps reduce America's sugar intake while building a company based on the principles that Jojo lived throughout her life.

Our Mission: The average American consumes 77grams of sugar a day, 2-3 times the recommended amount. We are on a mission to reduce Americans’ sugar intake by 50%.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a motivated, high-energy, creative, and fun marketer who is passionate about both DTC and Retail E-commerce channels. This individual will collaborate with multiple team members including our Marketing Team, Sales Managers, and Retail Sales Team. This person will have an ability to come up with creative ways to build our community and share our mission.

What You’ll Do:

• Focus on E-commerce, retail and customer retention on Amazon, Retail, .com sites (Walmart, Instacart, Target, Peeped, Shopify)

• The Marketing Manager is responsible for growing and retaining our customers online

• Grow and manage our email marketing and SMS campaigns (via Klaviyo & Attentive)

• Collaborate and work closely with our social and influencer team to grow our online community

• Improve our overall website experience through A/B testing and design

• Collaborate with leadership on marketing messaging & positioning

• 3+ years of e-commerce experience working to grow and build a community for a new brand

• Proficient with Adobe Suite, Power Point, Shopify, Email SMS & all social platforms

• Creative while results driven: ability to analyze the ROI of campaigns

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Love: a love for people and desire to make the world a better & healthier place

• Optimistic: a can-do attitude even when there is not a clear and possible outcome

• Be your own boss: self-motivated to prioritize while coming up with new ideas
