ABOUT THE POSITION
Job Title: Associate Director, Marketing
Hiring Manager: Chief Marketing Officer
Employment: Full-time
Location: Fort Lauderdale or New York - Hybrid
The Associate Director of Channel Marketing is a senior marketer on GQG’s Marketing Team. The Associate Director demonstrates an effective ability to market investment products to intermediary, institutional, and retail clients in the US and Europe. The role will be accountable for supporting marketing campaigns which drive client acquisition and servicing efforts across marketing mediums.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Build and execute channel marketing and communications strategies, focusing on the institutional and
international marketing channels
· Represent the needs of local markets in a global business
· Create, adapt, and distribute marketing materials for the US and EMEA businesses across print, digital, video
and email
· Maintain a broad knowledge of the institutional investment management landscape, including competitive
analysis, trends, and key developments
· Partner with the firm’s PR agencies to build the brand across regions
· Serve as support marketing liaison and support for ongoing investor relations initiatives
· Coordinate the development of the firm’s monthly FUM and performance reports, annual and semi-annual
investor reports and calls, ASX announcements, and executive presentations
· Partner with channel managers to deliver fully-integrated cross-channel marketing campaigns
· Assist in the deployment of shaping GQG’s Brand messaging and strategy
· Partner with sales, compliance, product management, finance, client service and work closely with the global
marketing team across time zones
· Manage and coordinate proprietary, third-party and virtual events and conferences
· Create advertisements and advertorials for digital publications and social media
· Measure the effectiveness and develop ROI models for marketing campaigns, events, and advertising
· Foster relationships with vendors and client home offices
· Adhere to local regulations and practices regarding the promotion of investment management products
· Manage GQG’s Graphic Designer
QUALIFICATIONS
· 5 - 10 years of mutual funds, ETF, UCITS and/or institutional product marketing and/or channel marketing
experience in investment management
· Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, or related field
· Proven track record of driving engagement and the adoption of investment products
· Skilled influencer with the ability to gain buy in with different teams across the business
· Results-driven, high-performing individual with a high level of attention to detail
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Strong work ethic with a professional demeanor and an intellectual curiosity
