The Manager, Content and Influencer Marketing, is responsible for the strategy, development, and implementation of content across social media channels like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook for our portfolio of premium Ice Cream brands. In this role, you will develop strategies for proactive and reactive social content and lead either hands-on content development or external content development. We are looking for someone with entrepreneurial spirit and know-how to execute with scrappiness and efficiency. This role will expand to include focus on owned brand digital assets like brand websites, blog posts or mobile apps.

This person will collaborate with Brand Teams, cross-functional teams and content creator partners on a frequent basis to recommend, create, deploy, and measure social content.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create a holistic online content strategy including proactive and reactive content across social media to drive increased consumer brand engagement.
  • Execute the strategy by identifying required resources (budget) and leading internal and external teams/agencies to develop and manage content, ensuring tight alignment to brand team strategy and objectives.
  • Keep a daily pulse on culturally relevant moments, conversation themes and provide frequent (a few times a week at a minimum) recommendations on key trends to respond to.
  • Develop a system for agile content creation that enables our brands to engage in relevant social conversations and trending topics more quickly and authentically.
  • Determine learning agenda and establish KPIs specific to channel to identify optimizations and measure success. Must be able to lead A/B testing to identify content types and themes that maximize engagement.
  • Partner with Brand and Paid Media teams to integrate owned content into paid campaigns (i.e. amplify winning content through in-market paid media campaigns).
  • Build strategy and process for engaging micro-influencers to amplify our brand’s messaging. Partner with brand teams to execute and deploy into market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to ensure a cohesive brand message across all channels.
  • Be our social evangelist. Keep up-to-date with social media trends and best practices, and share insights and recommendations with the broader marketing team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing, preferably in CPG.
  • Strong understanding of how to drive content engagement on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and others.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience managing a team and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive content and social media strategy.
  • Action oriented self-starter who takes initiative to move tasks forward, embraces a test & learn mentality, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Highly creative with experience developing effective social creative, both in-house and by leveraging content partners and UGC in a scrappy way
  • Technologically savvy with knowledge of social analytics and content creation tools.
  • Experience with influencer relationships and activation a plus
