Head of Social Media & Community
Role Overview
The Head of Social Media & Community Role is designed for a driven and creative individual with experience building social and influencer strategies that are designed to increase platform engagement and drive brand loyalty. Our ideal candidate is a collaborative team member that enjoys working alongside others, but is eager to take on a real leadership role as it relates to spearheading new social media initiatives and acting as the third full-time hire of a fast-growth startup. Atop spearheading social media planning and execution, this role will be tasked with community-building initiatives such as organizing giveaways, spearheading co-branded campaigns and events, planning photoshoots, managing customer service inquiries, communicating with customers via Instagram Direct Messaging, etc.
Responsibilities
Social Media: Define and Execute a thoughtful strategy for a comprehensive, integrated social media and influencer marketing plan that drives tangible customer engagement and conversion.
- Plan monthly social media calendars across all critical brand platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Ongoing static image and reel content creation to support both paid and organic acquisition efforts
- Monthly coordination with UGC creators to support growing content funnel
- Management of social media DM’s and responses/comments on organic posts and paid advertisements
- Management and ongoing optimization of Gifting and Paid Influencer strategy
- Organize quarterly photoshoots to support social media calendar
Community Management: Spearhead new Initiatives designed to foster brand loyalty as well as surprise and delight new customers
- Present and begin outreach for new co branded partnerships across product lines with the goal of one co branded partnership every quarter
- Handle Customer Service management through Gorgias platform
- Define wholesale marketing strategies that bring customers into the stores of new wholesale partners to purchase Nori products
- Work alongside CEO & COO to identify ways we can meet our customer IRL (ie: events, brand pop-ups/activations, customer loyalty dinners, etc.)
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
- Minimum of four years of social media and/or related digital marketing experience
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Practiced content creation skills across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Youtube, Canva, Figma, Photoshop, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, while maintaining a positive attitude
- A natural “people person,” skilled at building and nurturing relationships
- Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Remote
