Influencer & Community Manager - US (New York City) Hybrid
Medik8 is a UK-based clinical skincare company on a fast growth trajectory in the US. As US Influencer & Community Manager, you’ll act as the brand's US voice across globally owned and earned social and digital channels. You will be key in proactively finding and nurturing new, authentic conversations and communities. Generating conversation and engaging with earned brand interactions to drive brand awareness, SOV and EMV.
The successful candidate will lead Medik8’s US influencer partnerships and relationship management to generate brand awareness as well as have a natural affinity for customer experience and be social-media obsessed, especially within the skincare space and emerging digital trends.
This is a hybrid role based in our New York City office. All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and must be local to the area or willing to relocate.
Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000/year

This role will make a significant contribution to our ambitious journey. Playing a key role in driving brand growth, you will contribute to the social voice on and off camera for one of the most innovative and conscious brands on the market!
In more detail your role will include:
- Working with the US Director of PR, Influencer & Community to help set the strategy for the US influencer program and community growth that drives reach and engagement
- Assist in managing US Influencer Marketing campaigns, delivering end-to-end paid influencer campaigns and viral activations for always-on aspirational awareness content including managing budgets ensuring we hit monthly KPIs and targets
- Making data-led decisions with your knowledge of the industry to identify and source the best global influencer partnerships for Medik8 - fully tracking and reporting on all campaigns to deliver clear ROI
- Always-on relationship building with new and established global Influencer and KOL contacts, unlocking and cultivating brand ambassadors
- Creating video content monthly for Medik8’s social media channels that speaks to the US market, primarily for TikTok; as well as proactively engaging and replying to earned interactions, stitching and repurposing content
- Uncovering and building new communities to engage with, increasing brand and product awareness among target audiences being the first touchpoint for new followers
- Utilizing social listening tools and platform insights to monitor and report on community trending topics and customer engagement insights to identify growth opportunities
- Feeding US social media insights, trends and influencer content to Global social media team, working collaboratively to maintain a cohesive social strategy across all owned-channels including TikTok and Instagram
- Assisting with paid social media, including whitelisting, boosting and paid ads across TikTok, YouTube and Meta
- Managing contact lists and product sends to influencers & community members
- Day-to-day affiliate program management
- Working closely with the social and customer experience teams to ensure a social-first approach to boost customer interactions, conversions and sales
Qualifications
- 3+ years in-house or agency experience in influencer management and/or community management experience
- Strong relationships with influencers, ideally within the beauty/skincare space
- Comfortable to be in front as well as behind the camera and have a strong knowledge of TikTok/Instagram and are obsessed with social media
- Consumer centric and have a natural ability to connect and create meaningful conversations and engaging responses
- Strong attention to detail is a must.
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with Social listening tools (such as Sprout and Tribe)
- Strong knowledge of social media best practice principles
- An understanding of the skincare space
- Strong knowledge of all social channels’ workings with particular reference to TikTok and Instagram
- Demonstrate ability to work in a collaborative environment and dynamically align to changing business conditions
- Experience managing external agencies is a plus
- Paid social media experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive, proactive and a self-starting always-on attitude
