We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Coordinator with a strong passion for photography to join our dynamic marketing team in our Columbus, Ohio office. This is a full-time, on-premise position. As a Social Media Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing our brand's online presence and engagement, utilizing your photography expertise to create visually stunning content that resonates with our audience.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our brand identity and targets various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and TikTok.
  • Plan and schedule social media posts, ensuring timely and consistent updates to maintain an active online presence.
  • Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and implement data-driven strategies to improve reach and engagement.

Photography and Content Creation:

  • Utilize your photography background to capture high-quality images that highlight the beauty and craftsmanship of our jewelry collections.
  • Leverage your photography skills to produce visually captivating content that showcases our exquisite jewelry pieces, brand story, and company culture.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative visual concepts for social media campaigns and marketing materials.
  • Edit and retouch photos to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic and ensure content meets our quality standards.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with our social media community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Cultivate meaningful connections with followers and influencers, fostering brand loyalty and encouraging user-generated content.

Influencer Marketing:

  • Identify and engage with relevant influencers and brand ambassadors in the jewelry and fashion industry to expand our brand reach.
  • Coordinate influencer partnerships and track performance metrics to evaluate the success of collaborations.

Social Media Advertising:

  • Assist in creating and managing paid social media campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and support sales efforts.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Coordinator or similar role.
  • A strong passion for photography and a solid background in photography techniques and editing.
  • Demonstrable expertise in using various social media platforms, with a keen understanding of audience behavior and best practices.
  • Proficiency in photo editing software and tools, such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and innovate.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and emerging platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography, or a related field is a plus.
