Job Title: Social Media Coordinator

Reports To: Product Marketing Manager

Status: Full-time

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Position Overview : The Social Media Coordinator will act as the social media voice for The Op Games; building and engaging with online communities, maintaining and growing existing media channels, researching and securing social spokespeople and influencers, and executing social media strategic plans .

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow social media channels, test and implement new channels (as needed).
  • Collaborate across marketing, creative, paid partners, channels, agencies, and digital
  • Maintain daily/weekly/monthly content calendars; generate, organize, and schedule posts
  • Increase daily social media reach and audience engagement through timely posting and ongoing engagement with fans
  • Recommend & implement strategies to keep social media fresh and sticky
  • Monitor industry and key competition, along with best practices
  • Proactively post and interact when customer issues arise via social
  • Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies and creative campaigns
  • Build relationships with prominent influencers and thought leaders
  • Attend relevant events for networking and business purposes
  • Research relevant industry experts, influencers, bloggers, fanatics, competitors, target audiences, etc
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and influencers
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and coordinate marketing strategies for best practices across channels
  • Collect data and generate analytical reports
  • Provide accurate and timely reports and lists, including but not limited to:
  • Social Media mention recaps reports (i.e., key drivers; monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports; licensor & sales requests)
  • Website & Social Media Analytics (i.e., Google and Facebook)
  • Influencer Reporting (Highlighting the Success of Campaigns)

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years Marketing or relevant experience
  • Self- starter and goal-driven
  • Problem-solver
  • Resourceful and budget conscious
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Knowledge of tabletop gaming, licensing and/or toys
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
