Senior Associate, Influencer Activation
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Influencer Activation Associate to join our influencer team whose primary role will be to work on influencer marketing campaigns for a handful of our great clients. This role will work directly with the Associate Director of Influencer Activation within EssenceMediacom’s Creative Futures Social Team.
This role will support the Associate Director & Manager in developing and activating a robust, always-on social influencer content marketing strategy. You will be key in developing influencer solutions across client goals, including performance-based objectives.

In this role you will
- Support the development of influencer and content marketing recommendations that are designed for each unique client objective and focused on critical client KPIs
- Research, identify, negotiate and manage candidates for client influencer campaigns
- Curating influencer rosters that meet target audience demographics using our influencer toolbox
- Assist client communication regarding campaign execution, serving as a support project manager for influencer & content partnerships, ensuring all parties are accountable for meeting deadlines and delivering within approved plan parameters
- Support influencer/agent communications for assigned campaigns, including negotiations, and contracting
- Foster long-lasting, positive, and authentic relationships with our influencer partners
- Own and lead all campaign trackers (project timeline and content trackers)
- Collaborate and learn from creative teams & paid social amplification teams to optimize influencer campaigns
- Assist Manager in the content creation process, including providing clear input on key deliverables such as influencer briefs, and a strong creative point of view on final deliverables, including rough cuts and final assets
- Contribute ideas towards campaign strategy and content ideas for influencers to execute
- Support writing client presentations, briefs, pitches, and POVs
- Support Social Analysts during campaign reporting
To be successful you possess
- Excellent project management skills
- Effective and quick communication skills, specifically over email
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the influencer marketing space
- Experience reviewing contracts and negotiating compensation with agents/talent
- Detail-oriented, specifically if product shipping is involved
- Collaborative in nature and confident stepping up in meetings
- Comfortable leading client conversations and proving best practice POVs
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications; OR equivalent professional work experience
- Experience handling influencer marketing projects
- 1+ years of agency experience and/or influencer/social activation experience
- Experience in launching influencer partnerships, the media partner landscape, and digital strategy

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $45,000 to $90,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
