What are we looking for?

We are looking for passionate people who want to change the world through the art of storytelling. People that are driven to disrupt the status quo and not just looking for another job. We are seeking an E-Commerce Livestream Host for shoppable lives across our social media channels. This will be a part-time opportunity that is once a week for 1-3 hours at our production studio.

What are shoppable lives? Think of it as watching your favorite creator go live, while being able to actually shop the clothes, makeup, kitchen tools and more right from your device. Tastemade is known for being on the cutting edge of taste and trends – a go-to source for inspiration and tastemaking in the lifestyle vertical and we're bringing this to interactive, live stream experiences.

What you’ll be doing:

• Be the host of live streams on various Tastemade and social media platforms, showcasing products and brands from our studio in Santa Monica, CA
• Give product recommendations through demonstrations, tutorials and verbally in the lifestyle category, which may include items in food, travel, home & design, beauty and fashion
• Interact with the audience, answering questions and sparking engagement throughout the lives

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years of experience in either acting, hosting, live streaming, or any other on-camera experience
• Be knowledgeable and/or have a strong passion for food, home, travel, beauty and fashion
• Comfortable and confident in front of the camera
• Ability to improvise and make conversation both individually and interpersonally for at least 1 consecutive hour

How we’ll take care of you:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay range for this role in the US is between $100.00 and $300.00 per hour. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: candidate qualifications, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
