The Manager of Purpose and Brand Communications will help to develop strategic, cohesive brand PR, influencer and media relations campaigns around the brand and its purpose to drive reach, create demand and communicate core messages across multiple platforms. A key responsibility for this role will be to leverage the brand strategies to make meaningful and measurable impact against our corporate reputation work including our global ambition to End Pet Homelessness, our sustainability efforts as part of our Sustainable in a Generation Plan, and our corporate purpose programs like Better Cities for Pets.
What are we looking for?
- 5-7 years relevant professional experience in brand PR and purpose-led communications.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism or associated profession is required, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Proven success in driving communications across multiple brands and businesses is preferred.
- Experience with influencer and brand advocacy
- Experience integrating purpose and brand strategy
- Agency experience a plus
- Experience a a spokesperson is a plus
- Ability to travel
