About The Role:
We are looking for a stellar candidate to help build a new brand and develop & manage our Influencer Marketing. As a valued team member, you will project manage and support in building influencer relationships that will set the stage for the creation of our new jewelry brand. This is a fantastic chance to join a growing team and dive into the dynamic realm of influencer marketing in the luxury jewelry space.
The primary responsibilities of the Influencer & Marketing Associate include creating and managing relationships with new and existing influencers, vetting potential influencers, helping to craft strategy, and project management.
The right candidate should be highly organized with outstanding communication skills. Strong social media and influencer marketing knowledge is needed. He or she should also be able to think strategically, generate creative campaigns, monitor trends, implement plans, and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
● Build and maintain an ongoing portfolio of influencer relationships that align with the mission behind a new luxury jewelry brand
● Support and facilitate effective communication, manage processes, and develop or implement creative campaigns and promotional content partnerships.
● Assist in managing all phases of influencer discovery, selection, and outreach across different digital channels, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
● Identify and vet prospect influencers to successfully execute campaigns and programs that maximize product ROI.
● Negotiate and secure influencer agreements with a strong understanding of industry standards.
● Coordinate all communication, both internal and external, surrounding influencers.
● Monitor industry trends and research potential influencer partners
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a relevant field. Experience in managing influencer relationships or partnerships is a plus.
● 4-7 years of professional social media or client relationship experience
● Extensive knowledge and understanding of marketing strategy on social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
● Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and effectively manage deadlines.
● Confident written and verbal communication skills, as well as a keen eye for detail.
● Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, tedious, and ever-changing environment.
● Strategic thinker with the ability to identify innovative strategies to engage new clients.
● Self-starter mentality with a professional and confident approach
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience managing and collaborating with social media influencers.
● Knowledge of pop-culture, celebrities, and influencers
● Knowledge of fashion or luxury goods space a plus
● Proactive, positive attitude, team player, ready and willing to take ownership of important responsibilities
● Professional social media marketing and campaign execution.
● Negotiating and client onboarding experience
● Experience working with spreadsheets, Microsoft Office, and Google Drive
Location:
This role will be based in New York City under a hybrid work arrangement (a few days in the office monthly)
Other Info:
This is an hourly paid position ($25-35/hour) as freelance for the first few months. You will have an opportunity to work on an exciting new project at a well-established and award-winning jewelry company. You will have direct exposure to senior leaders at the company - and possibly some famous people! After the first few months, this may cultivate into a full-time role which can be discussed based on the project and team’s development.
