The Job in a Nutshell
The Senior Social Media Content Strategist position at Natural Grocers will develop and execute all social initiatives under the direction of the Social Media Director. Primary role includes content creation, social media video creation, new customer acquisition, brainstorming, reporting & analytics, influencer marketing and more.
Main Ingredients
- Develop fresh content ideas and manage the social media content calendar for digital channels including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Threads, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.
- Hands-on experience leading the content creation process for social media videos, including creating shot lists, video scripts and attending photo shoots.
- Attend brainstorming meetings and collaborate with other internal teams to ensure messaging alignment.
- Build a monthly social media aesthetic that complements our online and offline branding.
- Work with influencer partners, including ongoing coordination, building a content plan that hits on key sales and campaigns, managing timelines to ensure on-time deliverables, and measuring effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to grow our social media following and expand reach by building and leveraging relationships with influencers and partners and creating strategies that showcase our content to new audiences.
- Social media aficionado; stays up to date on the latest social media trends, what’s going viral, new features and new platforms – providing suggestions for opportunities.
- Analyze social media performance in Sprinklr and build a monthly report with key takeaways and opportunities.
- Bonus points for experience in digital advertising on social media and search.
- Supports other social media projects as needed.

Recipe for Success
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing.
- Experience creating effective content for social media brand pages including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube.
- Excellent writing and grammar skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok).
- Able to work effectively with daily, weekly and monthly timelines.
- Time management skills.
