Simplero is an all-in-one marketing software for course creators, coaches & online marketers. Founded in 2009, Simplero is a profitable, bootstrapped start-up with over 2,500 active customers who have collectively earned over $450 million in revenue using our product.

About the Role:

You'll work directly with our CEO to scale our pipeline and deliver on ambitious growth goals. You'll be in charge of setting growth strategies, building out our customer journey, testing new channels & audiences, revamping our positioning/messaging, running/managing ads and so much more.

Responsibilities:

  • Create, own & manage our current growth strategies while identifying other key channels in which we can invest and scale our customer acquisition efforts (expected to bring their own framework to test & analyze performance of new channels)
  • Suggest marketing strategies that are appropriate for our stage and prioritize accordingly
  • Be a key member on our leadership team playing a crucial role in helping us grow the business (from vision, to strategy to execution)
  • Own analysis & modeling (e.g. segmentation analysis, channel/campaign performance)
  • Effectively come up with hypothesis and testing to optimize channels, targeting, ad creatives, messaging
  • Relentlessly optimize new experiments, A/B test, and double down upon early signs of success
  • Effectively leverage, project manage and coach our engineers, product & design team to test new ideas and incorporate learnings into marketing strategies
  • Manage contractors and agencies (e.g. designers, UA consultants/agencies) and report back on performance

Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience as a Head of Marketing, Growth or related title
  • 3+ years experience running growth at a SaaS company (bonus point if it's a subscription offering)
  • 3+ years experience as the 1st or 2nd marketing hire at a growing startup
  • Experience selling to a creator economy (consumer turned entrepreneur)
  • Proven track-record of being an autonomous and a self-directed leader who has experience doing big things with small teams, thinking like an underdog, and being a problem solving machine
  • Seasoned IC and project manager who can drive the team toward ambitious but achievable goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good communicator, skilled negotiator, and understands how to build bridges with internal and external stakeholders
