Lifeway's Marketing Commerce team is growing and seeking a Marketing Automation & Campaign Manager | Remote. The Marketing Automation & Campaign Manager will be responsible for building the overarching automation strategy and user journeys for Lifeway. This includes the execution, production and development of email, SMS and push marketing efforts, including promotional, transactional and lifecycle development. This person will own the customer from a marketing automation (email, SMS, and push) perspective to ensure a consistent brand experience at an enterprise level.

This is a remote position in the U.S. with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the marketing automation team that expands existing email/SMS/push activities
  • Works directly with the Director of Commerce Marketing to execute against omni-channel strategies and gather the data resources and capabilities necessary for success
  • Create and execute a comprehensive marketing automation strategy
  • Manage the email and SMS workflow, tasks and calendars
  • Oversees the template library, ensure email best practices, mobile responsiveness and rendering
  • Defines marketing automation success metrics
  • Develops and manages high-quality reporting, and communicates performance and insights
  • Manages the marketing automation team overseeing their day-to-day responsibilites and growing them as individuals
  • Works with the brand and ministry teams on creative, messaging and priorities
  • Manages A/B testing program to ensure we are constantly testing and improving
  • Some travel required, possibly overnight

Qualifications

Education Required

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or Computer Science

Experience / Skills Required

  • 5-7 years of expert level Marketing Automation experience in agency or client setting
  • Active, hands-on experience building consumer journeys
  • Demonstrated success building email, SMS and push campaigns and user journeys in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Attentive
  • HTML coding knowledge
  • Knowledge of email regulations including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, TCPA and CASL
  • Marketing automation, defining audience segmentation, and web analytics
  • Proven success in planning, writing briefs, segmentation, campaign setup, QA, A/B testing, reporting
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills having leveraged data to drive decisions and turned results into actionable learnings
  • Managing multi-layered projects across various cross-functional teams, hitting milestones and achieving KPIs

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Knowledge of Javascript, CSS, SQL, or alternative secondary coding
  • Experience onboarding new team members
