Summary Of Position

Lionsgate has an immediate opening for an assistant in our Theatrical Marketing department. This position will support the SVP, Head of Digital Marketing in the Theatrical Division. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who is eager to learn and is extremely detail-oriented with excellent computer and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to multi-task, be able to analyze data, possess strong time management skills, and have some prior experience in marketing/advertising/public relations related fields or internships. Responsibilities

  • Meeting Coordination: Assist in scheduling and organizing meetings, both internal and external, ensuring they have clear agendas and relevant documentation.
  • Email Management: Prioritizing urgent messages and responding on behalf of the SVP when necessary.
  • Expense Reports: Take ownership of expense report management, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Documentation: Assist the SVP in memorializing processes developed for the team. Help keep campaign management documents up-to-date.
  • Team Planning: Support the SVP in planning team activities and events, ensuring all team members are informed and engaged.
  • Industry Insights: Stay updated on industry trends and activities, emerging marketing strategies, providing concise and relevant summaries to the SVP to facilitate strategic decision making.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain the SVP’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, events blocking time for important tasks and proactively managing changes or schedule conflicts.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, including data entry and document preparation as needed
  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinating travel including flights, accommodations, and other logistics
  • Meeting Preparation: Assist in preparing materials for meetings, including collecting necessary documents and topline details

Qualifications And Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to manage & complete multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Resourceful self-starter with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment and maintain strict confidentiality
  • College degree required, preferably in Business/Communications/Public Relations with emphasis in Advertising, Marketing and/or Media

Nice to Haves

  • Previous experience as an executive assistant or administrative role is preferred
  • Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and the entertainment industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical abilities

Compensation

$43,000 – $45,000
