We are currently seeking a VP/ General Manager for the Southeast Region, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Sales, and based in the 7-state footprint. This position will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a key market for MABI, through holistic P&L and Plan achievement, and the people development and coaching of a multi-layered organization.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • This leader will immerse themselves in the business, develop the vision, execute innovative strategies, allocate resources, develop a high functioning sales team and grow BTB relationships and performance with its key customers.
  • Coach, develop and inspire effective communication, use of analytics to drive sales teams to hit key performance metrics and drive revenue.
  • Must be adeptly equipped to deliver sales presentations externally to key customers, and internally to the region team of 31FTEs, across the nine-state footprint today.
  • Aide in the improved effectiveness and efficiency of sales teams, leading a cross-functional group that operates as a true business unit, under the MABI overall strategic direction.
  • Challenging the status quo, approach calculated risk-taking measures in results of innovating and executing new ideas to accelerate business performance.
  • Provide strategic direction/input for development of Channel, Customer/Distributor and Region Sales strategies in line with the Annual Business Plan.
  • Develop and communicate the sales drivers across the business.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership to identify opportunities and gaps along with vision on how to address them.
  • Become a key contributor to the Sales Leadership Team, working collaboratively with counterparts and SVP to establish a best-in-industry leadership team.
  • Channel and business advocate liaising with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Business Operations partners to ensure goal alignment that drives WABP objectives and strategies.
  • Being comfortable engaging with both distributor principal, and Internal ELT leadership, bring clarity and a solution-based mindset to the conversation.
  • Lead interaction and influencer with Reyes East/West VP of Marketing (20% of MABI business).
  • Contributor and role player in future T2T alignment partnerships.
  • Quick alignment touchpoint representing distributor execution and program capabilities for VP of National Accounts (50% of National Chain business.
  • Holistic P&L and budget management, and delivery of an annualized business comprising of 20M+ Cases by Volume, $500M+ in Revenue.
  • Seen as a successor for Senior Leadership opportunity.

Qualification, Education & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10 (+) years of both sales, and cross-functional experience, preferably in beverage alcohol or CPG
  • 5 (+) years in management and leadership for a larger team or organization

  • Strong analytical and functional skills in the areas of Pricing and utilizing syndicated data.
  • Strong technical skills Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), including the ability to craft a meaningful selling story through presentation.
