Do you love all things language and writing? FutureBrand is looking for a creative artist whose palette is words to lead our thriving Verbal Identity practice.

Someone ready to lead a talented team to even higher levels of success. Someone who loves to turn smart thinking into creative storytelling, and give meaning to a blank canvas. Someone with strong experience in brand voice, messaging, content creation, and naming.

A left and right-brain thinker. An exceptional writer. An inspiring presenter and communicator. Someone eager to work with brands across every industry—from tech to CPG to retail to wellness.

A strong candidate will have a meaningful experience in the branding world leading brand voice, messaging, naming, and creative storytelling projects.

This person will play the critical role of being in the air (leading) and on the ground (doing).

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and grow the verbal identity discipline at FutureBrand across a full breadth of brand transformation project types and business sectors
  • Create verbal deliverables with excellence for client projects and new business opportunities: e.g. brand voice, messaging, brand narratives, naming, content, creative workshops, and verbal training
  • Spearhead new verbal practices, methodologies, and ways of working that uniquely complement, or enhance, FutureBrand’s existing set of tools and frameworks
  • Serve as a thought leader and content creator to increase FutureBrand’s expertise in the verbal identity space
  • Inspire verbal team members to deliver impactful, creative client work
  • Collaborate with global offices to refine FutureBrand’s approach to verbal identity
  • Contribute to our culture by being inclusive of diverse perspectives and styles

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of related work experience in brand consulting, advertising, and/or related field, including meaningful experience creating verbal identity deliverables
  • BA/BS from a 4-year university required; MA or MFA preferred
