Social Media Specialist
Glanbia Performance Nutrition's brand portfolio consists of category and consumer leading brands – Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, Think!, Amazing Grass, and SlimFast. We are hiring a Social Media Specialist to the team! Your role will focus on Optimum Nutrition and Amazing Grass brands.
We have an amazing role for someone who is passionate about the social space and is extremely interested in nutrition and health and wellness. As a Social Media Specialist, you will drive our consumers across our portfolio of brands in all the main social channels.
As the Social Media Specialist, you will:
- Be passionate about social media. Know the social channel inside and out. Understand how consumers are using the platforms from intention, flow to available formats.
- Execute the social strategy for the brand. This may include developing the content calendar, writing social messaging and other relevant content with the aid of our in-house creative team as well as being able to rely on your own creativity to generate ideas and quickly see when and how to jump on trends on-line.
- Gain internal alignment on the social calendar. Ensure brand/creative services and legal are all aligned. Develop briefs for content as needed.
- Monitor and suggest relevant trends, hashtags and content that fit each brand.
- Monitor competitive brands to understand their strategy, key consumer, and social media approach.
- Activate influencers to achieve key brand goals including building influencer considering sets, outreach, creative concepting and management.
- Oversee influencer execution from contract, billing, monitoring posts, and reporting.
- Manage creator-led content. Ensure influencer, ambassador, and UGC creator content aligns with strategy.
- Pull key metrics at a predetermined basis to track performance back to goals and benchmarks.
- Monitor trends within our space and be an ear for the business through Social Listening.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- 4-year Bachelor’s degree in a marketing or business-related field
- Internship and/or 1-3 years of experience
- Experience using Sprinklr or other social listening and analytics tools
- Well-developed organizational and project management skills to manage multiple brands and initiatives simultaneously
- Manage through a data oriented and test and learn mindset
