three to four years of experience , with strong social media management and digital content experience, complemented by sharp communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an eagerness to demonstrate their creativity and strategic thinking. Account Managers are responsible for executing account deliverables whilst maintaining client satisfaction. A passion for food, restaurants and the hospitality industry, as well as a desire to learn more about marketing, social media and brand strategy, are keys to success in this role.Please note: To better support our clients needs this is a hybrid position that requires residency in the San Francisco Bay Area. We occasionally support our clients in-person for key events and/or activations.af&co. FundamentalsWe are looking for someone who:Is detail-oriented, creative, empathetic, resourceful, tenacious, strategic, an assertive goal-setter and excellent communicatorPossesses a keen interest in and passion for food, restaurants, cocktails, travel, and the hospitality arts and culture in generalHas an understanding and experience with digital/social media platforms and content development (and loves to work in the space)Has excellent writing skills, which can be applied creatively and effectively to anything, including an Instagram post, a case study or client newsletterIs a natural networker and team player with strong social skills who can juggle multiple projects with finesseIs a born story-teller with strong persuasion skillsServes as a knowledgeable mentor to junior colleaguesFosters a fun, friendly, open, drama-free and efficient work environmentBrings strategic rigor and a high quality of work to every account or projectDisplays friendliness, courtesy and attentiveness to client needsIs highly productive and efficient in time managementIs adaptable and responds quickly to internal and external communicationExpertly uses Microsoft Office and Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets and SlidesResponsibilitiesA successful candidate will be able to do the following for up to seven clients:Manage proactive and reactive communication with each client in a timely manner, ensuring their needs and deadlines are met and tasks are assigned to internal team membersCollaborate with account teams on the planning and execution of client events and activationsDirectly manage client social media profiles, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn - includes content creation, from captions to original photographyCreate and manage social media ad campaigns through Facebook Business ManagerBuild out monthly content calendarsPost social media content using Sprout Social and native platforms where neededEngage in influencer outreach and manage influencer campaigns from start to finishWhen relevant, manage website build-outs with web developer/designer vendors, including writing site-maps, website copy, creating and managing timelines and deadlines, etc.Oversee and manage professional photo and video shoots by identifying and coordinating with local photographers/videographers, creating shot lists, timelines, and reviewing/editing final imagesResponsible for creating social media content on behalf of af&co. clients.
