Who You Are
You’re a social- and design-obsessed creative capable of leading projects from brief through to delivery while working hand-in-hand with fellow team members from Creative and Marketing on a variety of projects for nationally and internationally known clients, creators, and brands.
You’ll know how to start from scratch—taking a brief, questioning it, looking critically at what’s being asked, and coming up with innovative, strategy-led creative solutions that delight existing clients and help win over new ones.
Endlessly curious and devoted to your craft, you’re a skilled communicator who’s got big ideas for days, balanced by a knack for coming up with clever workarounds when budgets, timelines, and business needs change.
You’ve got an eye for organization and detail, and your designs are as original and inventive as they are on-strategy, on-brief, and on-brand. You’ll have a strong understanding of all the basic design principles as well as the wisdom to know when and where to break them.
You won’t be managing people—at least, not for now—but you will be someone who’s good at reaching out across the organization to build relationships, share knowledge and learnings, and help foster a sense of community in this small but growing team.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality creative work across a variety of formats and environments, including digital, experiential, out-of-home, and print
- Create and execute compelling, thoughtful designs for everything from pitches to presentations to case studies, social content, moodboards, mailers, signage, and collateral
- Own the overall design narrative on projects, coming up with templates and deck structures, and sourcing images, design references and inspiration, and content examples
- Stay on top of internal and client brand consistency throughout the life of a project and help enforce brand standards
- Proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and help develop new ones
- Think of ways to design ‘outside the box’ via elements such as animation, AR, and 3D Digital Modeling (hands-on knowledge is a plus, but not required)
- Keep up with design, social media, and marketing trends, using them in your work, and sharing them with clients and coworkers
What We’re Looking For
- A huge love for social as an industry and a discipline
- An open and empathetic mindset, with a collaborative spirit and sense of humor
- The ability to work independently and improvise when given limited information
- A love of aesthetic styles across a diverse set of industries and verticals from Beauty to Lifestyle to Technology and Entertainment
- A keen eye for sourcing imagery for use in projects and presentations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to balance competing workloads while keeping your teammates updated and informed
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe, including After Effects
- Experience concepting and creating social media assets, including video
- Basic knowledge of Premiere Pro or similar video editing software
