Who You Are

You love all things digital marketing and identifying new opportunities and innovative ways to grow customers and optimize conversions. You have a passion for digital marketing advertising platforms, and have had extensive experience managing campaigns directly in an ad platform, optimizing bid strategies, audience segments and creative. You are familiar with SEO best practices so you can lead employees across teams on SEO initiatives. You have experience mentoring or managing other employees, agency relationships and working closely with creative teams to build creative that performs. Your experience with performance marketing drives you to make data driven decisions that bring results. You thrive in a face-paced environment where you will wear many hats and are required to build strong relationships through cross-team collaboration. SUMMARY

Our Team: Innovative, creative, and collaborative, the StraighterLine marketing team is searching for someone who can contribute from day one. Our culture is one that welcomes forward-thinking and works together to create positive outcomes for our partners and students.

The Role: The Senior Manager, Growth Marketing will build and execute marketing efforts to drive new enrollments for StraighterLine, growing the B2C segment and optimizing the digital marketing funnel. Working with the VP of Digital Marketing, brand team and product team, you will be a key contributor in the growth and success of our B2C marketing programs to drive new students to the StraighterLine brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build multi-channel acquisition strategies to drive B2C campaigns through digital media channels, including paid social, paid search, influencer and more.
  • Execute integrated campaigns with a data-first approach to optimize against goals and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Build lead-gen campaigns across multiple channels to drive leads, working with our email team to execute nurturing campaigns that drive conversion.
  • Lead efforts with the analytics/BI team to build campaign tracking process and develop effective dashboards and KPIs to monitor the success of efforts. Report findings and insights to key stakeholders.
  • Build, track and optimize landing page performance, including those for both B2B and B2C businesses.
  • Partner with the internal Product team to create compelling and effective website copy for partner microsites.
  • Lead creative requirements and collaborate with the creative team (agency, freelancer, or internal) to craft effective ad creative for paid social, paid search and more.
  • Lead internal team to drive SEO initiatives, managing an agency on SEO and prioritizing with product and editorial teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • At least 8-10 years of performance marketing experience, with extensive experience managing digital ads in Meta, LinkedIn, Google Adwords, etc.
  • Experience working with CRM, Marketing Automation, and Project Mgmt tools is a plus - we are a Zoho shop in the process of moving to Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Extensive experience analyzing campaign data through ad platforms, Google Analytics and/or other web analytics tools. Experience presenting analytics to cross-teams and leadership team.
  • Experience with SEO best practices, either through managing an SEO agency or working closely with an SEO expert to implement projects to grow organic traffic.
  • A keen eye for creative that performs; experience working closely with creative teams to build creative that converts.
  • Motivated by metrics and performance goals and able to build and hit target enrollment forecasts.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to develop and execute detailed project plans.
  • Have an ability to influence and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in the Edtech industry is a plus.
