As the Head of Growth, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's trajectory by driving user acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Head of Growth to lead our growth initiatives and steer our marketplace towards rapid and sustainable expansion. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies, overseeing marketing campaigns, optimizing user acquisition channels, and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance the overall user experience. Your expertise will be instrumental in scaling our user base and increasing revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to drive user acquisition, engagement, and revenue generation. Continuously analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior to identify growth opportunities. Identify and implement unique partnership opportunities to effectively reach both EV drivers and potential hosts.
- User Acquisition: Manage and optimize various user acquisition channels, including partnerships, paid advertising, SEO, content marketing, influencer collaborations, community engagement and social media. Monitor and adjust campaigns to ensure efficient and effective acquisition efforts.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions. Regularly analyze key performance metrics, conversion rates, user behavior, and other relevant data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance growth.
- Conversion Optimization: Collaborate with the product and design teams to optimize the user journey, onboarding process, and overall user experience to drive higher conversion rates and customer retention.
- Experimentation and Testing: Lead A/B testing and experimentation across marketing channels and product features to identify the most effective strategies for driving growth and improving key metrics.
- Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships that can accelerate user acquisition and expand the marketplace's reach. Negotiate and manage partnerships to maximize value for the company.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the growth budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure ROI on all growth initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a quantitative field like Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, etc.
- Proven track record (5+ years) of leading successful growth initiatives in a start-up or high-growth environment, preferably in the e-commerce or marketplace space.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, content marketing, social media, and other growth channels, ideally at a peer-to-peer marketplace business. Bonus points if you’ve worked on both demand and supply side marketplace growth.
- Experience running high-velocity, multi-channel experiments at early-stage companies.
- Understand the value of mobile app engagement and how to drive app downloads, engagement and transactions.
- Data-driven marketer. Intense focus on quantitative analysis and analytics: Dashboards, Reporting, Insights, Metrics, KPIs.
- Excellent at data-driven storytelling and communicating strategy; you know how to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies and outcomes.
- Experience with A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and user behavior analysis.
- Excellent leadership skills with a collaborative and motivational approach.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to drive execution.

- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment.
