Social Media Content Manager

Our client is looking for a Social Media & Content Manager who can combine creativity, enthusiasm, and stellar social media knowledge to create compelling social campaigns. This role will partner with content creators, work with marketing, design, and PR to use content throughout the brand experience, and oversee the progress and performance of social and content deliverables.
The position will be serving as the point-person between influencers and the company, and curate a social community that has enthusiasm, energy, and diversity. This role will be the go-to for all brand content needs and be able to think about how content plays a part on each channel. This role will rely heavily on analytics to guide content strategy decisions. The right candidate will enjoy working within a fun yet small team that wears many hats and contributes to a “roll-up-your-sleeves” environment.
Responsibilities
- Create channel-specific content and adapt existing content for social channels such as (Instagram, Pinterest, FB, and TikTok) and use analytics to guide content strategy
- Manage agency on paid social strategy
- Launch and manage affiliate network (LTKI, Skimlinks, etc)
- Build and manage a strong network of brand ambassadors for the company, reaching setting growth goals and ensuring goals are met.
- Develop engaging activities for ambassadors that promote value propositions and support marketing campaigns
- Report on performance and make recommendations for growth. Set KPIs for social campaigns
- Develop and own social and content calendars in alignment with the marketing calendar to guide the creation of relevant content and make it accessible to partnering teams
- Help shape content and influencer strategy for brand
- Plan, write, schedule, and monitor all social posts across channels
- Community management including – responding to DM’s and comments with an “always on” approach
- Set up photo shoots, shot lists, and mood boards and was able to take quality photos and video content on the fly using iPhone or Professional camera.
- Copywriting as it relates to social media posts, comments, and responses, and able to capture the brand voice quickly
- Negotiate contracts with influencers and or agents
- Create and set content budget
- Stay up to date on the latest social media best practices and technologies
Experience
- 2-3 Years of experience managing and executing social media content and strategies across channels for a brand. Preferably in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle
- Experience in DTC Brands preferred
- Knowledge in affiliate marketing and platforms such as Dash Hudson, and/or Sprout Social a plus
- Ability to set goals for campaigns and track performance across channels
