Role/Title: PR and Social Media Supervisor

Location: Baltimore, MD

Salary: 70,000 – 90,000

Hybrid – 2 Days in Office

Clutch is looking for a PR and Social Media Supervisor for a client of ours.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise development of PR & influencer strategies aligned with client's business objectives, considering key issues, goals, competition, and industry trends.
  • Earn and maintain client trust as a valued advisor, delivering consistent performance and innovative solutions.
  • Develop press materials, influencer briefs, written content, media briefs, etc., offering strategic input on creative and written aspects.
  • Manage agency's day-to-day relationships with key PR and influencer client contacts.
  • Integrate PR and influencer activities into broader marketing campaigns to support business objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Contribute to new business proposals as needed.
  • Lead and manage client projects to completion, maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets.
  • Anticipate potential issues, informing relevant parties for proactive responses.
  • Review content for adherence to best practices, brand standards, and tone.
  • Provide clear direction to agency team members and contribute to strategic documents and presentations.
  • Execute media relations programming and impactful influencer campaigns.
  • Mentor and support junior staff, assigning, delegating, and monitoring work.

Required Skills

  • Senior-level PR experience with 6-10+ years of experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in an advertising agency or similar setting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective team relationships.
  • Proven experience in media relations (local & national) and proficiency in software tools (Google Suite, Cision, presentation systems).
  • Experience working with influencers, including vetting, negotiation, contracting, and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Exposure to influencer marketing is advantageous.
  • Willingness to occasionally work after-hours due to the 24/7 PR news cycle.
  • Occasional domestic travel during the work week (up to 10%).
