We are looking for a Social Media Manager II to join our Marketing team, reporting to the Director of Corporate Communications. In this remote role, you will be responsible for the company's social media program, oversee its Corporate social channels and engage with its growing community of followers and influencers. You will use social listening, data and other tools to measure results, drive engagement, and increase our following across all channels.
In this highly visible role, you will act as the brand voice and advocate for Infoblox across all company social networks – creating content, responding to comments, answering questions, enhancing our social persona, and actively engaging with customers, partners, and influencers within the social community.
You're the ideal candidate if you love social media storytelling, have a knack for telling a story in 100 characters or less, and are experienced in using data to drive engagement and followers while delivering compelling content. You are highly motivated with a high degree of independence, initiative, and a strong focus on quality and reporting. You work effectively with global teams and engage and lead/influence others with an adaptable style, while still achieving business goals and objectives.
What you'll do:
- Lead the development of a social media strategy coupled with an execution plan that aligns with Infoblox's integrated marketing plan
- Manage handles across: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others
- Manage agencies (when applicable)
- Conceive and implement programs to grow the Infoblox user community and social media presence
- Write and curate social & community content, with engaging text, images and video for platforms including GaggleAMP, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other online communities.
- Engage with and build relationships with customers, potential customers, key influencers, analysts and journalists relevant to Infoblox
- Analyze community and social performance, listen to relevant conversations, provide insight to the company and lead improvements based on performance, online reviews and feedback
- Optimize content to maximize traffic into community and corporate web site
- Coordinate across Marketing, and work closely with PR/AR to ensure brand consistency and program alignment
- Liaise with product marketing, product management, events, support and sales to stay updated on new products and initiatives
- Evangelize the Infoblox Community inside and outside of Infoblox
What you'll bring:
- 10+ years of experience with successful management of technical, B2B user communities in security and networking industries
- Hands on experience using data to inform content, decisions and strategies
- Proven experience as a community and social media manager – demonstrating the ability to manage a high volume of work in an organized fashion
- Knowledge of digital marketing, paid media, campaign management, influencer marketing and experience with light video editing (to make short clips)
- Masterful organization skills, with hands-on experience managing multiple networks, platforms, and social media tools across multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-drive environment
- Knowledge of best practices in reporting and social listening and how to use that data to drive measurable results
- Analytical skills to identify, track and develop insights from community metrics
- Demonstrated knowledge of key trends in user communities and social media
- Demonstrated experience in conceiving and implementing campaigns to grow community
- Working experience with Canva, BrandWatch, Cision, GaggleAMP or equivalent platforms
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a relevant field
What success looks like:
After six months, you will…
- Have helped position the company as a thought leader by sharing relevant, timely and interesting content centered around networking and security – connecting with media, analysts, customers and partners by building relationships and sharing meaningful stories.
- You will also be the driving force in helping our Bloxers (employees) become brand ambassadors through management and promotion of our social media employee advocacy platform.
- Completed a Social Media Audit and established measurable to build into the FY plan
- Have built a new social media strategy for Infoblox aligned to business priorities and stakeholder mapping – focused on growing followers and improving engagement across all audiences
- Earned credibility and the trust of your stakeholders – while aligning cross functionally to the business priorities and the overall Integrated Marketing Plan
- Have built a calendar of social media content calendar and strategic activities aligned to our buyer personas/journey and content strategy – underpinned by the value new brand identity and narrative
- Have built and executed new social media processes aligned to the plan maximizing awareness and effectiveness both internally and externally
- Become the connective tissue that has "eyes everywhere" and can spot content that is off plan and/or off message
- Established new metrics and reporting capabilities.

- Delivered YoY measurable results improving our brand awareness and improving engagement within the communities.
- Streamlined our processes, content, channels and posting cadence focused on industry best practices and leveraging data insights
- Identified opportunities for social network improvements and build a year 2 strategy to take social media to the next level
- Built and executed a social media content strategy that is well balanced between driving thought leadership and promoting the company (it’s people, solutions and happenings)
