Summary
Vivint is seeking a highly skilled and motivated digital marketer experienced in performance-focused display advertising and media buying to join our dynamic Digital Marketing. As a Display Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and optimizing performance-focused direct response display and programmatic marketing campaigns. Your work will have a direct impact on driving user acquisition, increasing brand visibility, and maximizing ROI for Vivint's marketing initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the paid social marketing channels to achieve performance targets and accelerate channel growth.
- Develop and run lead generation campaigns for Vivint’s in-house sales team with the primary focus of driving cost-effective installations.
- Set strategy, objectives, and goals for paid social marketing platforms and programs designed to increase leads, sales, and installations of Vivint smart home security systems.
- Ideate, implement, and manage paid social media marketing campaigns on multiple platforms including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Manage multiple advertising campaigns to targeted audiences at each stage of the marketing/sales funnel within each channel.
- Discover, build, and test new audience segments for more granular advertising.
- Own and maintain coordinated marketing campaigns and promo calendars.
- Storyboard and develop creative concepts for various audiences, ad sets, and campaigns for messages and formats that resonate with target audiences.
- Submit detailed creative briefs to the project manager, creative team, and marketing operations team to ensure ad campaigns are carried out from start to finish according to the campaign needs, including creative development, tag/pixel implementation, attribution tracking/reporting, and compliance alignment.
- Regularly sync with the creative team to review performance and ideate new tests and ad improvements.
- Write engaging and sales-driven marketing copy in digital ads.
- Manage budgets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep spend optimized for sales growth while hitting target ROI parameters.
- Maintain active relationships and hold regular meetings with account representatives from major advertising platforms to make strategic adjustments to advertising strategies and campaigns.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly tracking and data analysis on the performance of each channel, campaign, ad set, and ad campaign. Prepare and deliver performance reports identifying successes and opportunities for improvement.
- Build out the paid social media portfolio by testing new paid social media platforms and marketing products to increase leads and overall business installation volume.
- Monitor and conduct regular audits to optimize marketing campaigns on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to drive more leads, sales, and installs.
- Own and manage the pixel implementation and conversion event tracking for each channel. Work with the Web Operations team to make any needed improvements.
- Work with the Analytics team to makes sure leads and sales are properly attributed to paid social media campaigns.
- Work with the conversion rate optimization and sales teams to brainstorm and implement new strategies to improve response rate and sales conversion rates for lead sources in the paid social media portfolio.
- Collaborate with the Organic Social Media, Influencer, and Customer Support teams to ensure social media efforts are consistent and synced across multiple areas.
- Assist with copywriting and editing, as well as minor photo editing such as resizing.
- Research tools and other technologies that will increase performance.
Required Skills, Experience & Education
- 2-3 years professional experience in paid social media marketing with an emphasis on lead generation.
- A track record of performance marketing and lead generation growth on paid social media channels.
- BA/BS in marketing, public relations, or communications, or equivalent working experience.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
- Proficiency with managing paid social media platforms.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to regular changes in objectives, algorithms, and market conditions, and develop new strategies and tactics.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies.
Preferred Skills, Experience & Education
- Experience with and working knowledge of marketing tag implementation
- Experience running lead generation campaigns
- Experience running lead ads/instant experiences on paid social platforms
