The role of a Marketing Manager is crucial in planning, executing, and monitoring the marketing strategies of a company or organization. The responsibilities include:

Developing Marketing Strategies: Creating and implementing comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to achieve the company's objectives, increase brand awareness, and drive sales.

Market Research: Conducting market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviors. Analyzing competitors and industry trends to identify opportunities and challenges.

Product/Service Positioning: Defining the positioning of products or services in the market and crafting compelling value propositions to target specific customer segments effectively.

Brand Management: Overseeing brand identity and ensuring consistent messaging and brand image across all marketing channels and communications.

Advertising and Promotion: Planning and executing advertising campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives to reach the target audience and drive customer engagement.

Digital Marketing: Utilizing various digital marketing channels such as social media, email marketing, content marketing, SEO, and PPC to create online presence, generate leads, and enhance brand visibility.

Traditional Marketing: Managing traditional marketing efforts like print media, TV, radio, and outdoor advertising, depending on the target audience and marketing goals.

Public Relations: Building and maintaining positive relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure media coverage and manage the company's public image.

Budgeting and Cost Management: Developing and managing marketing budgets, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring cost-effective marketing initiatives.

Analyzing and Reporting: Tracking the performance of marketing campaigns, analyzing key metrics, and providing regular reports to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with sales, product development, and other departments to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.

Event Planning and Management: Organizing and overseeing events, trade shows, product launches, and promotional activities to maximize brand exposure and engagement.

Customer Relationship Management: Focusing on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all marketing activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Team Management: Supervising and guiding the marketing team, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Innovation and Creativity: Encouraging innovative and creative approaches to marketing initiatives, staying up-to-date with industry trends, and exploring new marketing channels and techniques.

The candidates must be skilled in strategic thinking, communication, project management, and data analysis. They should be able to adapt quickly to changes in the market and consumer behavior to keep the company's marketing efforts relevant and effective.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of progressive marketing experience- preferably in marketing, promotions, customer marketing, or brand management role and managing and leading SEO/SEM/PPC/Content Marketing/Influencer Marketing.
  • Advanced Google Analytics skillset is a MUST
