Job Description

A prolific and talented content creator who knows how to create content at a brisk cadence without sacrificing quality, capable of developing and executing an editorial calendar.

Specifically, the Content Marketing Manager will lead the creation of white papers, case studies, blog posts, eBlasts, executive communications, social media, abstracts and presentations to establish and support Agio’s various demand generation activities, predominantly driven by persona-based and Account Based Marketing (ABM) strategies. To this end, you understand how to use different channels to drive buyer personas to this content (SEO, social, email, etc.), and you are comfortable owning and meeting quantitative goals related to audience and pipeline 

The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Head of Marketing and be responsible for translating ideas and thoughts of key executives, marketing, sales and technical teams into professional, exciting, on-brand content. The content will be technical in nature and must be communicated to broad audiences with consistent and effective branding, marketing, and cultural messages. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Define, consistently measure and broadcast KPIs, forecasts and top line business performance to keep on track and help Agio achieve targets
  • Partner with leadership on price modelling and competitive analysis for new growth engines in the business including decisions about go-to-market needs, programs, and operational needs
  • Leverage insights into sales and client lifecycle to offer advice on process and tool improvement for better outcomes for the next phase of growth
  • Strategize with product leadership on maturing tooling capabilities that deliver results around pipeline management, enablement, and areas of opportunity to enhance productivity
  • Develop and maintain the tech productivity stacks for Sales Development Reps, Business Development Managers, Marketing and Customer Success
  • Responsibility for quota planning, marketing/sales campaign operations, quoting/deal support, forecasting cadence, and orchestration of Sales, Marketing and Customer Success OKRs
  • Develop and maintain sales compensation plans and commission calculation platform for Sales Development Reps, Business Development Managers, and Customer Success
  • Deliver projects at high velocity with high accuracy
  • Establish and maintain an operational support model

New client acquisition

  • Accelerate Agio’s market penetration through persona-based and account-based timely and relevant content to high value targets 
  • Collaborate with Business Development leads to develop short- and long-term campaigns to build pipeline and earn new business
  • Lead the creation of white papers, newsletters, case studies, blog posts, web copy and ad copy to support campaign messaging 
  • Create content (for paid, owned, shared, earned campaigns) to drive thought leadership, awareness, and demand through campaigns across each stage of the funnel
  • Manage creation of content to boost SEO rankings in collaboration with external partners to optimize content impact on revenue generation
  • Collaborate on content creation for SDRs
  • Own and manage editorial calendar 

Generate customer loyalty, upsell, and renewal opportunities

  • Develop meaningful persona-based content that demonstrates the value of Agio’s services based on specific account segmentations
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to develop short- and long-term programs and campaigns to build trust, loyalty and ambassadorship of Agio programs
  • Lead the creation of webinar, white papers, newsletters, case studies, blog posts, web copy and ad copy to support campaign messaging
  • Own and manage editorial calendar 

Drive awareness of the Agio brand through promotional marketing initiatives

  • Identify and submit for merit-based and pay-to-play awards; leverage participation opportunities for maximum lead-gen value 
  • Develop and distribute press releases 
  • Contribute to the strategy and execution of new and existing owned and third-party events  

Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years Marketing Content experience in Fintech, Financial services, B2B Technology, cybersecurity, business IT
  • Degree in Journalism, Marketing or other relevant fields
  • Mastery of MS Word and MS Suite
  • Working knowledge of alternative investments (private equity firms, hedge funds, asset managers), healthcare and PCI compliance
