Social Media Coordinator
We are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Social Media Coordinator who can bring a mixed skillset to this important role. Our ideal candidate can flex their muscles in community management, customer service, strategy, execution, and creativity.
We are looking for someone with forward-thinking, innovative ideas who can follow our brand guidelines to create compelling content, work cross-functionally, provide timely and effective analytics, while also maintaining daily interaction with our social media communities.
This role will include some evenings and weekends to align with community activity on our social channels and brand requirements.
This is a hybrid role and you must be commutable distance to NYC, Tuesdays and Thursdays are in the office in Soho.
Salary range $56k - $66k experience dependant.
In this role you will:
- Support on the day-to-day management of Bubble social media channels, with a strong focus on TikTok. You will be both proactive and reactive with the community, aiming to engage across questions, comments and tagged posts efficiently and with the aim to build meaningful connections and experiences.
- Work hand in hand with creative to develop compelling and engaging brand assets to drive new launches, support core hero products and bring brand storytelling to life.
- Support the team to manage content creation plans to support the brand's channels as well as those of retail partners. Includes website, emails, ad campaigns, social platforms, in store, retailer dotcoms etc. Focus on digital first assets and inventive brand storytelling.
- Write brand copy for Bubble posts, keeping tone of voice true to the brand.
- Be responsible for scheduling and posting content on all channels.
- Serve as a thought leader across social and share best practices, general guidance and brand standards + guidelines.
- Produce monthly and quarterly analytics reporting processes, including influencer and social media results and provide insights, recommendations, and track against KPI's.
Who You Are
- 1-2 years of experience working for a professional social media account or agency
- Social media obsessed! You possess an understanding of digital and social platforms, emerging social technologies/platforms, and internet trends and culture
- Extensive experience and understanding of TikTok
- Content Creator by nature
- You're passionate about community building through social media and have a genuine passion for proactive and reactive community engagement.
- Ability to incorporate humor and trends into comments and posts
- Understand that social media isn't always 9-5 and can plan your time and schedule around peak moments
- Communicative, trustworthy, and able to meet and anticipate deadlines
- Strong copywriting & copy-editing skills
- Availability to post pre-approved content to our social media platforms every day
- Content creation skills (photo/video editing, Photoshop, etc.) are a bonus, but not a requirement
- Experience in beauty/skincare industry preferred but not required
