What We Are Looking For
The Social Media Manager will analyze metrics to execute engaging social media and influencer marketing strategies that connect JARS with target audiences and drive the strategic growth of our channels. This role will focus on increasing engagement, followers, traffic, and brand awareness while implementing social media best practices to grow our eCommerce footprint in all our retail markets. The ideal candidate is a digital marketing expert who is passionate about data analytics and eager to stay abreast of emerging public figures, technologies, and trends.
Job Duties
- Develop and execute engaging strategies for JARS and its subsidiary brands on all social channels including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Threads, and other social media channels.
- Create on-brand social media content while adhering to brand and compliance guidelines on all social media channels.
- Coordinate, source, and schedule timely content that engages current followers while reaching new target customers, including managing partnerships and giveaways.
- Plan and maintain a monthly content calendar for all social media channels.
- Work with Creative and Communications teams for relevant content.
- Identify and execute influencer marketing partnerships and campaigns to drive quality traffic.
- Capture and share social media content while representing the company at product launches, events, and trade shows.
- Work closely with other team members to devise campaign strategies for all brands.
- Implement Social tools and manage external partnerships.
- Generate monthly reports and analyze JARS' social channel metrics to gain insights into our audience and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Conduct market and company research, competitive benchmarking, and assess our market position for all social channels.
- Analyze and present key performance indicators and produce regular reports to leadership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in social media management, especially strategizing, developing, and executing successful social media campaigns.
- Data-oriented, autonomous, and proactive, with strong experience developing, strategizing, testing, and implementing campaigns and new ideas independently.
- Skilled communicator who can present insights cross-functionally, especially to C-suite.
- Can confidently move, adjust, shift, iterate, grow, and execute projects at high speed with comfort in navigating ambiguous situations.
- Strong cross-functional team collaboration skills.
- On the pulse of behavioral, marketing, and social trends under the digital marketing umbrella.
- Must have a passion and vision for digital marketing with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and highly organized to manage multiple projects within a team and with cross-functional partners and agencies.
- A strong plus if candidate has experience in cannabis and/or retail.
