We’re seeking an Internal Communications Senior Associate with a strong communications foundation and a passion for brand culture to join the DraftKings communications team. We’re an agile, fast paced and international company where you’ll strategically create engaging and informative content that resonates with the entire organization. This role will serve as a vital member of the communications team and will partner with stakeholders across the business. You will be tuned into the pulse of the business and will amplify the product launches, people initiatives, and key stories which matter most to our employees.

What you’ll do as a Senior Internal Communications Associate:

• Create and execute proactive communications plans to inform and unite employees across the globe in an engaging and authentic way.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally to develop content and news stories which resonate with DraftKings employees.
• Support in the management of and content creation for DraftKings’ intranet, newsletters, slack channels, and digital screens.
• Coordinate and manage the internal communications calendar.
• Build communications surrounding product launches, business partnerships, new market entries, HR initiatives, corporate social responsibility endeavors, executive event appearances, influencer spokespeople, and more.

What you’ll bring:

• 3+ years of relevant communications experience.
• A passion for writing and the ability to craft clear and concise prose and tell stories that resonate.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Upbeat attitude with a willingness to adopt a team-first mentality to get in the trenches together.
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to think outside the box and bring a fresh perspective to present and future opportunities, including entirely new ideas not being considered.
• Experience with video editing is a plus.
• Collaborative working style—our comms team is small and agile. While we have dedicated coverage areas, we all jump in and work together to support each other when company priorities require all hands on deck or specific problem-solving.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $66,400.00 - $99,600.00, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
