Your Opportunity as the Lead IT Business Analyst - Data & Analytics
Lead Business Analyst role within our enterprise Data & Analytics (DNA) team that will empower and enable the creation of data-driven insights across our organization. Will have responsibility to partner with various organizations across the enterprise to understand & develop their analytical needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Business Analysis and leads/coaches others on skills required to serve as a liaison between the Business and Information Services (IS). They will need to translate needs and requirements related to business process and systems from a business perspective into a form that can be understood and acted on by internal and external teams tasked with building solutions that enable and enhance analytic business capabilities. This hands-on position requires limited guidance, strong relationship building, a customer service mindset, excellent communication skills, problem-solving ability, critical thinking, and a commitment to quality deliverables.
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid ~25% in office presence
In This Role You Will
- Functional influencer that supports business areas with new project generation while constructively challenging ROI and connection to business and technical roadmaps.
- Influences the portfolio of projects and relative priority work requests while driving prioritization based on company strategic alignment with business customers and IS resources among competing goals.
- Consults with business SME to document existing processes and business capabilities, research best practices and propose future processes in the spirit of continuous improvement.
- Defines business requirements based on translation of business needs and gaps collaboratively with the SME leading to Functional Design.
- Leads and/or creates deliverables such as business process flows, what’s changing, business requirements, test plans, test scripts, cutover plans, key learnings, and project plans
- Creates functional designs in collaboration with development teams. Can identify appropriate actions and interpret guidelines that have been provided to address a challenge, acting as a champion to ensure delivered solutions meet the functional design.
- Highlights process changes and provides input on potential impact to the organization and/or roles and leads People Change Management deliverables
- May need to lead testing efforts. Understand best practices around unit testing and automated testing.
- Models’ best practices regarding quality, audit, and security controls.
- Acts As the Project Manager on medium to large size projects
- Manage project budgets and resources allocations.
- Models' empathy with their interactions with customers and cross functional team members.
- Ensures delivery of IS service performance in accordance with agreed-upon metrics.
- Guides and mentors’ others to help advance business analysis discipline and broaden knowledge.
- Be actively aware of how bias or exclusion might occur on a team and help to facilitate a team environment where team members belong and feel safe.

Minimum Requirements
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience with either a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or specialized training (including on-the-job)
- Experience leading project management activities with a strong understanding of project management methodology (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Experience facilitating and leading business process modeling and change management
- Experience with SQL, Data Visualization Tools (Spotfire, Tableau, Domo, etc)
- Experience leading or influencing Data Governance processes
- You have developed strong team relationships, based on trust and collaboration
- You have excellent communication skills and are willing to constructively challenge and actively listen while influencing and shaping outcomes
- You manage and facilitate successful, efficient meetings
- You are self-directed, proactive, and able to define, prioritize and execute work independently
- You have experience creating deliverables such as business cases, business requirement documents, and project plans
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):
- Prior experience in Consumer Packaged Goods, Sales, Marketing, Information Services, Supply and/or Demand Planning
- Experience with Python or R
- Experience with ETL or ELT
