VP of Corporate Communications
As the VP of Communications/Storytelling, you'll be at the heart of our communication strategy, both internally and externally. Your role will be to create captivating stories that bring Articulate to life and resonate with our target stakeholder audiences, including employees, investors and PR/media partners. With your exceptional storytelling skills and strategic vision, you'll amplify our presence, foster meaningful relationships and ignite engagement across multiple channels.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for strategic messaging, storytelling, and thought leadership in partnership with executive team and cross-functional teams.
- Develop and execute a holistic corporate communications strategy that embodies the Articulate voice, purpose and unique brand identity across all channels.
- Create compelling narratives and brand stories that captivate our target stakeholder audiences, including employees, investors and PR/media partners.
- Responsible for leading the creation and distribution of engaging content and campaigns across various internal and external platforms.
- Foster relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, driving positive coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, revenue, product, people and culture to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across all communication touchpoints.
- Initiate, develop and execute internal communication initiatives that promote a strong company culture, engage employees and encourage transparency and alignment across all levels.
- Manage crisis communications and serve as the company spokesperson, ensuring timely and accurate responses to sensitive issues.
- Identify growth opportunities for Articulate's positioning and business, define white space for innovation, and formulate communications action plans.
What you should have:
- Proven and strong storytelling abilities, with a talent for crafting engaging and impactful messages that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Proven experience in corporate and marketing communications, or related roles, preferably within the SaaS or tech industry.
- Proven track record developing and executing successful B2B corporate communications.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple intuitive communications and compelling narratives.
- Strategic mindset and ability to align communication strategies with business objectives, targeting specific stakeholders and achieving measurable outcomes.
- Track record of successfully managing and executing comprehensive communications plans, including crisis management and media relations.
- Experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and multimedia storytelling and bringing new campaigns and ideas to life.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-informed decision-making and a demonstrated ability to measure and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts.
The pay range for this position is $213,000 to $319,600 for all US locations. Articulate takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
