About The Role

Are you passionate about customer engagement and advocacy? Do you believe in the power of storytelling to bring others along on our journey? We’re looking for someone to join our Engagement and Impact team and lead our Open Research strategic engagement program. You’ll ensure that our colleagues are equipped and empowered to communicate Open Research strategies and policies consistently and effectively with all our customer groups, and you’ll lead the development and management of our society and author customer advocacy programs.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Synthesize strategic initiatives, publishing priorities and public policies into tangible guidance for publishing colleagues to communicate to their respective customer groups.
  • Provide internal customer groups with early awareness and socialization of upcoming market and policy changes and communications.
  • Communicate the ‘what’ and ‘why’ of market and policy developments, closely collaborating with marketing teams to ensure aligned communication plans internally and externally.
  • Establish Wiley’s market position as a true partner by proactively providing materials to ensure our publishing partners understand the external environment.
  • Develop and manage customer advocate groups who can be strategically deployed in support of Wiley’s efforts to influence government, institutional, and funder mandates and policy proposals.

  • Ability to work independently with a high attention to detail.
