Project Manager, Influencer & Talent Marketing
Job Description
Overview /Objective
The Project Manager, Influencer & Talent Marketing will be responsible for the project management of a world class Influencer program with projects continuing to scale on pace with the overall reach of the League, with critical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Support Influencer group by managing status reports and annual budgets
- Partner with Manager on the coordination of Influencer and key partner executions by handling travel, accommodations, contracts, talent gifting, and event credentials
- Create and implement Influencer & Talent Marketing plans in partnership with the greater Influencer Marketing, Music, Collegiate, Club Marketing and Social Teams.
- Lead the development of our Club Influencer Marketing Support programs (tools and resources)
- Build and maintain the league’s database for Influencers and talent
- Leverage key relationships to position the league as a tastemaker and industry leader in influencer and talent partnerships
- Build new connections in an expansive, ever-changing entertainment community and create experiences that enable influencers to connect with players, create content, and tell stories in partnership with the social team
- Support in management of day-to-day tasks and assignments for the department coordinator
Required Qualifications
An effective candidate must be a true entertainment industry expert with proven experience and ability in: identifying and bringing together emerging and established talent via relationships and creative deal structuring, balancing the needs of talent with the needs of the organization, supporting decisions with data and research, driving new ideas and concepts forward, and contributing to the build out and day-to-day management of a world class influencer and talent program that will garner respect from fans, players, clubs, and League sponsors.
This candidate will leverage key NFL assets to broaden reach and drive engagement particularly with fans 12-24 years old. The Project Manager, Influencer & Talent Marketing will be a pivotal position in helping the team break down projects into manageable pieces in effort to create captivating social moments to bolster interest around critical League initiatives (ex; Super Bowl, NFL Draft, Pro Bowl, Combine, NFL Kickoff, “off-season”, etc).
The ideal candidate has a finger on the pulse of multicultural, Gen Z, and Gen A consumer in key industries (fashion, music, sports/fitness, gaming, and culture) and can help shape fan expression for the NFL brand throughout the season through organizing and managing multiple moving projects, proactively anticipating future needs, and identifying simple and straightforward solutions to complex problems, driving their resolution whenever possible.
In their day-to-day the Project Manager, Influencer & Talent Marketing will be responsible for influencer management, conceptualizing unique ideas for event activations and key NFL moments and bringing these ideas/ events/ programs to life through successful project and event management.
The successful candidate will deliver against a highly collaborative, cross-functional business plan and work closely with closely with the manger to to Manager to assign tasks for department coordinator. This role will directly to the Director, Influencer and Talent marketing.
Preferred Qualifications
- BA/BS from undergraduate university with degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- -5 years of experience in marketing with a focus on talent management and experiential
- Ability to evaluate potential talent on brand fit for the league against a set criteria.
- Agency, music label, or otherwise talent or event management experience preferred
- Track record of accomplishments in the influencer and creator management space; specifically in bringing big and new ideas to life successfully and nurture relationships
- Unique event activations and experiences and proven track record of bringing new concepts to life via successful event budget management and event production, ensuring efficient allocation of resources
Other Key Attributes / Characteristics
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under aggressive time constraints with many with cross functional stakeholders
- Proven ability to maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, project and event management, and problem-solving skills.
- A sports fan in general, and more specifically an NFL fan. Knowledgeable about football.
- Energetic, Flexible, Resourceful, Collaborative, Positive attitude
Physical Demands
- Active movement at events for extended periods of time (i.e talent escort in stadium for the duration of an NFL game)
Travel
- 25-50%
Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
- FSLA Exempt.
